You may have a gluten intolerance if you get sick after eating gluten, a type of protein. You might feel tired, nauseous or bloated. Another name for gluten intolerance is non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS).
Gluten intolerance can make you feel discomfort soon after eating a meal that contains gluten. Often, within just 1 hour, you may feel bloated and nauseous. Other symptoms include fatigue, constipation, diarrhea and headache.

Once you suspect you've been glutened, start by adding in nutrient dense foods like bone broth, liver, stewed vegetables, sauerkraut and healthy fats like avocado or ghee. These will help replenish the cells in your body from any potential damage from gluten.
After roasting and grinding, coffee doesn't contain gluten. Even plain, instant coffee has no gluten in it. Where you need to be careful is buying flavored coffee or coffee creamer, which may contain gluten or are processed in a factory that handles gluten.
