Once you delete a message, the only way you can recover it is through the backup file kept on your phone or your cloud account. If you have a backup, the best way to restore it is using the reinstall and restore method detailed above. Without a backup, you can't restore those photos.
If you have deleted the picture after your last backup, then go ahead and uninstall the application and reinstall WhatsApp. During the setup process, choose the option to restore the backup from Google Drive or iCloud based on your operating system. If you choose to delete an item, it will be deleted from your WhatsApp media. Deleted items might still be saved on your device. If you have multiple copies of an item, you'll also need to delete all copies in order to free up space.
In such a case, even if the sender deletes the message using 'Delete for Everyone', the image file will be saved in iPhone users' Camera Roll. On the other hand, if you are an Android user, WhatsApp will delete the mistakenly sent media files from the recipient's gallery as well.
WhatsApp has a default function through which the app's chat photos and videos can be automatically saved to the phone's gallery. Due to this function, users can access WhatsApp media files even if the chats get deleted.
By default, media downloaded in WhatsApp will be automatically downloaded to your photos. If disappearing messages are turned on, media sent in the chat will disappear, but will be saved on the phone if auto-download is on. You can turn auto-download off in WhatsApp Settings > Storage and Data.
Is WhatsApp safe for sending private photos? WhatsApp encrypts your data while in transit, which makes the app a good option for sending private photos. While images and videos are moving between users, they are encrypted and cannot be decrypted until they reach their intended recipient.

Open the chat or group where the message was sent and long press to select it. Then go to the delete option and you will see the 'delete for everyone' option. Step 5: Delete that message.
Deleting the WhatsApp Account means completely erasing your details, messages, and phone number from WhatsApp. In this case, you won't be able to retrieve any of your old messages even if you had backed them up.
When you delete a photo or video from Photos on iCloud.com, it's also deleted from all your devices that have iCloud Photos turned on. If you change your mind, you have 30 days to recover it before it's permanently deleted.
