Black Belt and can earn an Adult Black Belt at the age of 16. There are, again, many martial arts schools that give only the rank of Black Belt. It is the same rank regardless of the age of the student achieving the rank.

The best way to determine child belt size is to measure an existing belt. Simply measure the total length from the Buckle Tip to the Hole Being Used to get the Center Hole Size. Again, you can add a size for extra growing room.

Different Levels of BJJ Belts for Children

If you're a natural, you can legitimately earn you're belt within a year or two. If you're an average person, it'll take you 3 to 5 years. And even if you work hard and dedicate 8 hours a day, but you struggle with the concepts and the techniques, it could take you longer than 5 years.
