Great film, but not for kids under 13
I recommend this film to everyone who loves slightly disturbing films and TV shows like me but for anyone under the age of 13 you really should not watch it. It's very gory and contains adult language.
It chapter 2!
I would say 13+ because it is really upsetting at some points (no spoilers) and it includes skulls and lots of swearing. 1 person found this helpful.
Edgy coming-of-age story isn't for young kids.
So a group of seven young friends decide to find out what "it" is that the grown-ups won't talk about. This movie, starring a creepy clown, is based on a horror novel by Stephen King. Why is It rated R? The MPA rated It R for violence/horror, bloody images, and for language.
If your kid is in their early teens or even just shy of being a teenager, there is nothing in this movie that they cannot handle. Just some violence and language is about the worst of it.
Very Good Highly Recommend For Age 13+ Or For Mature 12 Year Olds That Can Handle A Lot Of Violence. This was a great series I really enjoyed watching it but this is not for kids at all.
this would be a good movie for teens or tweens 12 and up. but its not a bad movie. its a feel good movie with cheerleaders and i liked it!
This movie might appeal to 8-12 year olds; however, there are some WILDLY INAPPROPRIATE scenes that just should not be in there.

Common Sense Media rates the game as good for ages 10+ (and it tends to be conservative in its age recommendations). Since the game is easy enough to learn and fun for adults too, you may want to try playing as a family first to see how your kid manages before letting them play online with friends.

Sleep: what to expect at 5-11 years
At 5-11 years, children need 9-11 hours sleep a night. For example, if your child wakes for school at 7 am and needs approximately 10 hours sleep per night, your child should be in bed before 9 pm. Some children fall deeply asleep very quickly when they go to bed.
The tween years are a period of considerable change. Once a boy reaches 11 years old, he is no longer a young child, but a preteen who is discovering the world. At this age, boys undergo a lot of changes physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
