The most significant difference between a grizzly bear and a rhinoceros is size. Grizzly bears can weigh 900 pounds, while rhinos can weigh up to 8,000 pounds! So through sheer force alone, the rhino could easily defeat a grizzly bear.
Rhinoceros have more mass power (1500 - 2200 kg) than the Grizzly (200 - 700 kg), thicker skin that would keep them in a fight for longer than the bear would like, and (but obviously) that evil horn at the front, to dissuade any frontal assault.
The two species most often reported to prey upon rhinos – usually young ones – are lions in Africa and tigers in Asia. However, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs and Nile crocodiles are also known to kill African rhino calves on occasion. By far, though, people are rhinos' #1 enemy.
An unarmed human could not bear a grizzly bear in a fight.
Humans cannot do serious harm to a grizzly bear. It is strongly advised that you do not get near grizzly bears.
With the bear's massive body, superior muscle, surprising speed and evolutionary armory, there really isn't any way a gorilla wins the fight. Every attempt it makes would be thwarted by at least one of these factors.
On land, the bear could possibly win a fight if it managed to flip over a crocodile and attack its underside. However, this fight would not be over quickly: the bear would need to do a lot of damage to finally kill the reptile.
Regarding size, strength, and agility, the gorilla is undoubtedly the larger of the two creatures. However, the rhino's horn can be a devastating weapon against any animal – including a gorilla. Therefore, there is no clear-cut champion when it comes down to physicality alone.
Although Rhino are very large and heavy (adult males can weigh up to a massive 3.6 tonnes), they are unfortunately no competition for the planet's largest and most dangerous land animal, an angry Elephant Bull!
Polar Bear vs Rhino: Which is Stronger? A polar bear's strength is no match for a rhino. The most it could do would cause the rhino to bleed, but ultimately it would definitely lose in a one-on-one battle with this animal, since a rhino can weigh up to 7 times as much as an adult polar bear.
Would it surprise you to know that an adult bear has almost no predators? Bears are large and can be quite intimidating so they don't have many enemies. Their biggest enemies are humans and each other. It's the cubs and the smaller females that have to watch out.
An elephant would beat a bear in a fight. Even though we have granted this hypothetical bear the best features of all the various species, the fact remains that they cannot do enough damage to kill an adult elephant. A fully grown bull elephant would most likely smell or hear a bear coming long before it showed up.
A bear would win a fight against a lion. Bears have the advantage in just about every aspect, from size to offensive capabilities. The only time that a lion would win is if it managed to sneak up and ambush a bear, leaping onto it and biting into its head with such power that it shattered the skill.
The hippo is larger, stronger, has better offensive powers and a defense that would allow it to last longer in a battle than a polar bear.
If the fight were to happen on land, a rhino might have the upper hand against a saltwater croc because it is more used to living on land. However, if a fight started close to the water or in the water directly, the crocodile would likely defeat the rhino.
Elephants and rhinos are the animals most likely to kill lions. The humble porcupine is a threat to mighty lions. A crocodile is an animal that will attempt to prey on lions.
If the fight takes place in an open area, then the rhino would likely win due to its greater speed and agility. However, if the fight takes place in water, then the hippo would likely have the advantage due to its greater strength and jaw power.
Exerts Most Absolute Force: Whales
A blue whale can generate a maximum force of approximately 60 kilonewtons. Whales can claim the title of the strongest creature on the planet simply due to their enormous size.
An elephant would win in a fight against a gorilla. Gorillas are certainly powerful and smart animals, but they lack any definitive means of killing an elephant. Unless they happened upon an elephant lying down and managed to inflict severe bites to them, a gorilla simply would not stand a chance.
The only predator to prey on gorillas is the leopard. Walter Baumgärtel found the remains of several gorillas after they had been killed by leopards in the Virunga Volcanoes. Another case has been confirmed in Gabon, where a sick young gorilla was killed by a leopard.
Predators. Leopards and crocodiles are large carnivores which may prey upon gorillas. Humans are the greatest threat to all gorilla populations.
Tigers have an advantage over rhinos because of their speed and agility. However, they are significantly smaller than rhinos, giving them an edge in size and strength.
Very few animals exist that can kill a large shark, and a bear is certainly not one of them. These furry animals cannot inflict a fatal wound on a shark faster than a shark can do the same.
Put more bluntly, when polar bears and grizzly bears are both competing for food, it is the polar bears that are more likely to walk away from conflict and leave the prize for grizzly bears. The bottom line: in a fight between a polar bear and a grizzly bear, the grizzly bear reigns supreme.
A grizzly bear would win a fight against a jaguar.
Even if the fight started from an ambush, we're not confident that the big cat is going to bite through all the layers of fur, flesh, and fat to deliver a fatal, crushing blow to a grizzly bear's large head.
