While they may not die from a black mamba bite, they will often lose consciousness for minutes after envenomation. Their prey may sneak away or bite again. Thus, the honey badger must finish the black mamba before succumbing to the venom for a short time.
Honey badgers have an incredibly varied diet, which also includes highly venomous snakes. They will eat anything from puff adders to cobras and even black mambas.

And speaking of bites, the honey badger can survive the bites of some very dangerous creatures. They eat scorpions and snakes, and they have an unusually strong immunity to venom. That means that even if the scorpion stings or the snake bites it, the honey badger doesn't die as other animals might.

A Komodo dragon would win a fight against a honey badger. Although honey badgers have a lot of endurance and tenacity, the fact is that they cannot deal fatal damage to the large lizard.

Honey badgers, particularly young ones, can be predated by larger predators such as lions, leopards and hyenas.
Honey badgers don't care about snakes. To them, they're just dessert.
Brown snake eagles are verified predators of adult black mambas, of up to at least 2.7 m (8 ft 10 in). Other eagles known to hunt or at least consume grown black mambas include tawny eagles and martial eagles. Young snakes have been recorded as prey of the Cape file snake.
While its possible that the croc scavenged its badger meal, the carcass does appear to be fresh, and its not implausible for a croc to snatch any animal (even a vicious badger) that strays within striking distance. But a badger, even an expired one, can be a tough meal to swallow.
The snake's biggest enemy is the mongoose, which is quick enough to dart in and bite the back of the cobra's neck before the snake can defend itself. "Spitting cobra" refers to any one of several cobra varieties that have the ability to spit or spray venom from their fangs in defense.
Over distance they slow down to 7 MPH (12 KPH). However, the average human run speed over distance is 6 MPH (10 KPH). Thus, you cant outrun a Black Mamba. Still, Black Mambas are extremely shy and will do everything they can to avoid people.
The taipan's venom is stronger, but the cobra's body is a lot bigger. If both snakes got bitten, they're both going to die. From that point, it's just a matter of which one expires quicker.
The inland taipan is considered the most venomous snake in the world as it has the most potent venom of all. The median lethal dose of its venom is 0.025mg/kg while that of the black mamba is 0.341 mg/kg. The lower the value of LD50, the stronger is the venom of the species.

Danger to humans
The Coastal Taipan is often regarded as the most dangerous snake in Australia. They are extremely nervous and alert snakes, and any movement near them is likely to trigger an attack.
The wolverine's greater strength and powerful jaws and teeth would very likely enable it to overpower the honey badger. However, like the much more powerful leopards and lions it would very likely have a very hard time getting through the honey badger's hide. This would take it possibly hours to do.
The honey badger is considered to be pound-for-pound one of the fiercest animals in the world. It trots along the African Savannah with a hairpin trigger, spoiling for a fight. Named for a mop of golden hair on top, honey badgers have been known to take on lions and tigers and leopards, oh my!
