We can't say that Aquaman can easily defeat Thanos, but for sure Aquaman has the ability to beat Thanos using his unique strategies. Aquaman has seen a surge of respect and admiration from comic book readers in recent years, becoming a strong and powerful leader amongst his peers.
1 The Spectre Would Flawlessly Defeat Thanos
The Spectre is easily the most powerful hero on Earth and possibly in the entire DC Multiverse. The Spirit of God's Vengeance, the Spectre punishes evil-doers in the most torturous ways possible.
Ocean Master is Aquaman's rival for the throne and always makes a heavy play for it whenever he appears. His strength rivals and oftentimes surpasses Aquaman's own, and his Atlantean powers are more familiar to him as he's known them his entire life, unlike Arthur.
Wonder Woman wouldn't beat Thanos even with her weapons. Thanos is physically stronger which is stronger than Wonder Woman. Thanos is physically stronger which is stronger than Wonder Woman.
Zod is stronger, faster, and more durable than Thanos. On top of that, his fighting skills and experience as a soldier give him an advantage over the Mad Titan, who is more of a brute than a fighter. All things told, Zod would end Thanos rather quickly.
Thor: The God of Thunder almost killed Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. He really would have taken down the Mad Titan there and then if not for his wish to see Thanos realise the error of his ways. As Thanos said, he should have gone for the head. We think if Thor got another chance, he would not miss.
Bigger than his enemies, bigger than his family, bigger than any other cosmic threat, Thanos's greatest weakness will always be himself. We've discussed his ego previously, but it's his insecurities about his own worthiness that will ever prove to be his downfall.
While it is fairly obvious that the Flash could run circles around Thanos under normal circumstances as his powers make him virtually untouchable, there wouldn't be much the Scarlet Speedster could do if he was around for Thanos' Infinity Snap as there is no way to outrun the god-like power of cosmic chance.
Thanos is outclassed by Shazam in power and while he still has his native cunning and ferocity, it wouldn't be enough. Shazam can hit him a thousand times from every angle in a second with force the likes of which Thanos has never experienced before. Thanos would be a challenge for Shazam but not that much of one.
Loki has a good chance of fooling him with his magic, which Aquaman is ill-prepared to face. Still, the powers he receives from his trident and his own durability are hard to miss. Loki could trick Aquaman, but it's only a waiting game since he doesn't have anything to keep the latter down.
Aquaman, with all his power and strength, can't even hope to match Carol's energy-absorption powers in his own domain - and he has no long-range attacks aside from simple throwing weapons, something she can easily dodge. Aquaman in the DC Universe commands the sea and nearly every sea creature that resides within.
Hulk is stronger than Arthur Curry by orders of magnitude. He can hold his breath underwater indefinitely so that's not a real advantage for the King of the Sea. Hulks could punch his way through an army of whales and sharks like they were water.
Spider-Man used the Infinity Gauntlet against Thanos and restored the universe after he snapped half of life from existence - but nobody remembers. One of Spider-Man's greatest victories is a fight his fellow heroes don't remember, as the web-slinger's defeat of Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet is only known by him.
This is what we aim to answer today. So, when it comes to a battle between Ghost Rider and Thanos, who is more powerful, and who wins? Thanos is more powerful than Ghost Rider and would easily win in a battle.
DC Is Going To Blitz The Marvel Heroes
Beyond the fact that DC's heroes are overall more powerful, they have numerous advantages. From magic-users to Kryptonians to the Flash Family, Marvel can't match DC's power. Even Marvel's mutants would fall against a concerted assault from a team of Flashes.
Even if he was using his Hulkbuster armor, which in the comics has never even phased the Hulk, he still wouldn't be able to hurt Shazam. Plus, getting hit with the lightning of Zeus would pretty much fry any armor's energy-absorbing capacitors.
Shazam would be able to overpower Loki, but once the God of Mischief realizes what he's dealing with, he'll formulate a strategy that will allow him to defeat Shazam. Loki would allow Shazam just enough leeway to think the fight was won before springing his true trap and taking the hero down.
Iron Man is one of Marvel's biggest icons. Despite this, Shazam would undoubtedly beat Iron Man in a fight. There's not a lot that Iron Man could do in his base suit to hurt Shazam. Iron Man likely wouldn't be able to think of a way to beat Shazam, as magic is outside of his wheelhouse.
Based on the analysis of powers, speed, strength, durability, and combat, we can safely say that Odin is stronger than Thanos and outmatches him in almost every aspect. Thanos might be among the most feared villains in the Marvel Universe, but he comes nowhere near when compared to All-Father Odin.
Upon learning that Annihilus wanted to destroy all life in both the positive and negative matter universes, Thanos tried to release Galactus. Most unfortunately, Drax showed up and ripped out Thanos's heart, killing him.
And in the MCU without infinity stones, Thanos' abilities are limited only by physical strength and durability. On the other hand, comics Thanos was psychologically weaker & couldn't beat up the Hulk, so it was about even.
That villain is, of course, Kang the Conqueror, who's set to be the Avengers' next opponent in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. And while Thanos is certainly a hard act to follow, Kang may be a far greater threat than the Mad Titan ever was.
Kang is stronger than Thanos, with the Conquerer being much more challenging to defeat than the Infinity Gauntlet-wielding villain.
