First introduced in the Battle of Gods movie and corresponding Dragon Ball Super redux arc, Beerus is an incredibly finicky and temperamental cat-man of a God. As a result of his fickle ways, there are times when Beerus can be a very kind and benevolent God, and times he can be cruel and malicious.
Beerus is the God of Destruction who uses his powers to destroy planets. He does not use his powers out of evil, he is just doing his job. Destruction is required to maintain balance in the universe. He will however destroy anyone who disrespects him, and is generally indifferent about mortal matters.
Beerus was particularly non-evil when he played a part in saving Earth after Frieza destroyed it, by allowing Whis to use his Temporal Do-Over. Naturally he had selfish motives for being nice ─ like having Goku around instead of Frieza and his love for Earth's food.
ENTP - Beerus
He's among the strongest beings in the series, yet he often acts flippant; and while he possesses an analytical mind he gets bored easily and hates routine. RELATED: 10 Biggest Retcons In The Dragon Ball FranchiseThis marks him as an ENTP, excepting his sleepiness.
Yeah Beerus cared a lot about his brother but he just doesn't show his feelings towards Champa. And we have already witnessed that Beerus cared about Champa in Universe 7 vs 6 arc where in the end he wished to restore the life on Universe 6 instead of wishing something for himself.
Dragon Ball: Lord Beerus is romantically interested in Cheelai. Yes, Lord Beerus is romantically interested in Cheelai.
5. His Sneeze is Highly Destructive. One time, when he was napping, Beerus was woken up by his sneeze, which ended up destroying the two suns of his planet. Luckily, Whis helped him by re-doing time to prevent the damage.
However, Beerus is hotheaded and somewhat selfish and can become easily angered over trivial matters, such as being beaten in a game of Hide-and-Seek, being served greasy food, or being denied pudding.
Due to his power and position, he is somewhat fearless, as there are very few who can match his power, let alone capable of killing him in combat. However, Beerus is extremely terrified of Zeno, in a manner very similar to how the Kais and other gods are scared of Beerus himself.
BEERUS IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED OF ZENO WHILE HES CAUTIOUS AROUND AND RESPECTS THE GRAND PRIEST - There is a difference. Let me explain. What makes Zeno truly terrifying is the combination of his childish mannerism/demeanor and his incredible Power.
After Goku defeats Frieza, Beerus sets up a tournament between his Universe 7 and his twin brother Champa's Universe 6. After Universe 7 wins, Beerus wishes for the population of Universe 6's Earth to be restored.
With all that said, unlike most characters in Dragon Ball, Beerus' sociopathy doesn't necessarily mean that he's an evil person. Just someone with a complicated moral code. From what we've seen of Champa, he seems to be the same high-functioning sociopath as Beerus, although his impulse issues are not nearly as bad.
Beerus is usually seen by everyone as the ultimate personification of sadism, cruelty, megalomania, infinite destruction, death, power, and madness, being a complete psychopath (albeit on the highly functioning end of the spectrum) with seemingly no regard for any mortal life as shown by his destruction of various ...
Since "Battle of Gods" Beerus and Goku have maintained a tenuous friendship - though Beerus is always clear to establish that he still the divine power who is superior to Goku in every way.
Despite his extreme power and role as God of Destruction, Beerus is surprisingly well-mannered and polite, and can be quite sociable and friendly when in a good mood; he uses exclusively polite pronouns, from the gentle-polite-masculine boku to refer to himself (much like Gohan, Trunks, Goten, and Babidi in the series) ...
In a word, Saitama is the most vital being in his universe and would probably have no trouble beating Beerus.
15 Will Surpass: Goku May Have Already Surpassed Beerus
Literally referred to as the "State of the Gods," it would be no surprise if Ultra Instinct Goku could already beat Beerus. As the main character, Goku eventually surpassing Beerus is all but guaranteed.
Why is Whis so friendly? He is a servant of Zen-chan ultimately who acts as a servant and mentor of Universe 7's God of Destruction.
Beerus awakens from a 39-year sleep and goes in search of a Super Saiyan God whom he saw in his dream, his search bringing him to Goku whom he easily defeats despite his opponent being in Super Saiyan 3 form.
That question was actually answered in the story. Whis said that if Beerus died, his duty as a guide angel would be suspended until there was a new God of Destruction. When a God of Destruction dies, the angel who attends to that god becomes inactive until a new god is chosen.
Beerus seems to have a very long life span (in the millions of years) and doesn't seem to be near dying due to old age. So why is Whis looking to replace him with Goku or Vegeta?
The more energy he exhausts the earlier he needs to go to sleep/hibernate. Weakness: Beerus is incredibly lazy. If Shin (Supreme Kai of 7th universe) is killed, Beerus will also die as well.
