In order to defeat the mad symbiote, Spidey usually has to enlist the help of his greatest allies — whether that be the Fantastic Four or his on-again-off-again ally in Venom. Spider-Man does what it takes to stop Carnage, even if it means compromising with villains like Venom.
Captain Marvel is one of the most powerful Avengers who can defeat Captain America. Her superhuman strength, flight, and energy projection abilities make her a formidable opponent in battle.
But in All-Out Avengers #5, it's Captain Marvel's turn to run out of luck as Spider-Man defeats Carol Danvers with a disturbing attack involving webs directly shot down her throat. Spider-Man and Captain Marvel, despite being very different heroes, actually share a romantic history.
Similarly, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk have also proven to be more physically capable than Captain America in terms of sheer strength, meaning out of all of them, Captain America is, in fact, the weakest.
Carnage is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an adversary of Spider-Man and the archenemy of Venom.
Carnage is stronger than Venom in a variety of ways, including physical abilities. As previously mentioned, those superior physical abilities were developed as a result of the blond bond Carnage shares with Kasady as well as the amplified serial killer appetites Carnage picked up from Cletus' bloodstream.
Weaknesses. Like most other Symbiotes, it is vulnerable to sound and fire. However Carnage doesn't mind heat as long as it's the one making it.
While Black Panther could probably come up with a method to eventually stop Carnage given his resources, in a random encounter Carnage just might kill the Black Panther.
Carnage seemed the superior symbiote to Venom in nearly every regard, so how did he lose to Venom? The main reason was because the Carnage symbiote was not a perfect match with Cletus like Venom was with Eddie.
When Vision turns dense, Carnage won't have much success slicing or dicing him but that will only encourage him. Given enough time, Carnage could possibly do some damage, but since the Vision can also turn intangible he can simply phase his hand into Carnage and sever the connection between the symbiote and its host.
In a fight versus Carnage, Wolverine's healing factor will get pushed far beyond its absolute max. Normally Logan's the one that heals and his opponents don't, but Carnage will be right there regenerating as he slashes back at Wolverine, and his significant strength advantage will end up winning him the day.
Carnage nearly defeated Spider-Man until Bentime tricked Carnage into reverting into human form, enabling Spider-Man to knock out Kasady with one punch. The Carnage symbiote was supposedly destroyed in conflict, and Kasady was sent back to Ryker's Island, where he unexpectedly transformed during his time.
The other Celestials then banished Knull, along with the severed Celestial head, deeper into space. After that, he started using the head's cosmic energies as a forge for the symbiotes, which is how they developed the weaknesses to sound and fire.
Pieces of the symbiote were on him, but he didn't fully transform or try to defend himself. Venom simply pulled the symbiote off of him and ate it, becoming stronger.
A symbiote is only as strong as the bond that it shares with its host. With that in mind, Venom is the clear winner, having formed a number of strong bonds since making its debut back in issue 252 of The Amazing Spider-Man.
The reason for this is that Carnage is a "red one," as Venom states, which is apparently quite concerning. Venom refuses to emerge from Eddie's body again, clearly scared of his vermilion enemy.
Carl Brock's appearance in Amazing Spider-Man #375 depicts him with a full head of hair, but Venom: Dark Origin and subsequent appearances depict him as a balding man with a moustache. Venom Vol. 4 shows him as balding in the present, but with a full head of hair in flashbacks to Eddie's youth.
After merging with the insane serial killer Cletus Kasady, the newborn symbiote became the entity known as Carnage. The creature's powers were amplified by Kasady's insanity and bloodthirst, turning him into Venom's most deadly foe.
Thor. Blessed with the powers and long life of a god, Thor was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the initial version of the Avengers. Not only can he fly and transport between worlds, but he was also the only one capable of taking down Thanos, even after he had assembled all six Infinity Stones.
