Soap and Water or Stamp Cleaner: Most non-staining inks can be washed off using mild soapy water (a small amount of dish washing detergent mixed in water is fine). A clean toothbrush is great for washing off ink that has become embedded in nooks or crannies in your rubber stamp.

Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol is commonly used to remove ink stains. So you can apply it to any paper you're trying to erase the ink from. If you only have a small amount of ink to erase, use a cotton swab. If you want to erase most of the ink from a page, soak the paper in a small washing tray for 5 minutes.
Soak for 15 minutes in mixture of 1 quart lukewarm water, one-half teaspoon liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon ammonia. Rub gently from back to loosen stain. Soak another 15 minutes in above mixture. Rinse.
To remove ink from paper with acetone, add a small amount of acetone to a cotton swab and gently rub the ink spot.
