Wash all plastic toys with water to remove visible dirt, and squeeze out any excess water. Use Milton Washing Up Liquid if desired. I use bleach on a daily basis but never when wearing my "day" clothes, so have been very confused how I keep getting black (and dark) tops absolutely covered in bleach spots. To cut a long story short, it's the Milton fluid.

MOULD OR MILDEW
Because mould is a living organism it needs to be killed off or it will spread and become worse. A dilute solution of a sterilising fluid such as Milton is ideal for this ( One part sterilising fluid to ten parts water should be satisfactory ).
Sterilising Baby Bottles using a Sterilising Solution:
This can be done by diluting a solution like Milton Sterilising Fluid. Next, disassemble your baby bottles, taking care that there is no milk or formula residue. Make sure to have cleaned all parts of the bottle, including the teat, ring, and cap.
Most patients tolerate Milton Sterilising Fluid and bleach baths well, although sometimes you may experience a mild discomfort on the skin. If this happens, empty the bath and immediately rinse off with warm water before applying your usual moisturisers and creams.

Water treatment
To make water safe for drinking, use ½ teaspoon (2.5mL) of Milton Fluid to 5L of water and leave for 15 minutes.
How long does Milton take to work? Items are ready for use after just 15 minutes of complete immersion in the Milton solution but can be left soaking for up to 24 hours. Items can be added and removed to and from the solution throughout the day as and when they are needed.
Milton Sterilising Fluid can also be diluted and used as a mouth rinse. This was one of the first historical uses of Milton.
Renew the solution every 24 hours. For home hygiene: To disinfect floors and surfaces, use 3 Milton tablets to 5L of clear cold water. No need to rinse.
