Can I wear headphones with a healing conch? Over the ear headphones which don't put pressure on your piercing are fine. However earbuds can cause irritation with a healing piercing so we do not suggest wearing them.
Is It Safe to Wear Earbuds or Headphones After Getting a New Ear Piercing? We do not advise wearing either headphones or earbuds until a new pierce/mod is fully healed, or doing so very cautiously in a way that does not interfere at all with the pierce/mod or cause any pain or discomfort.
We recommend using Airpods pro 2nd generation as these come with soft silicone tips that don't put excessive pressure on tragus-piercing jewelry. If you have headphones while the piercing is healing, you can push forward these headphones so that they don't fall directly on the piercing and don't put excessive pressure.
A conch piercing is a piercing in the inner part of the ear cartilage. Conch piercings can take 4–12 months to heal. During this time, it is essential to keep them clean, for instance, with saline solution.
Aftercare: Clean twice a day with saline solution. Avoid sleeping on the area and wearing earbuds. Do not twist the earring.
Conch piercing aftercare
Avoid sleeping on the side of the piercing until it has fully healed as pressure on the piercing can cause problems with healing, there is also a risk of piercing migration and piercing bumps (sometimes incorrectly referred to as keloids) forming.
As stated previously, since it's parallel to the flap of cartilage that holds an earbud, an Airpod or listening device of the type could be uncomfortable for the wearer since it puts pressure on the conch. It might be rough to wear earbuds during the healing period, which will take months (more on that in a second).
Your conch piercing may take longer to heal than a skin piercing, and you may experience a little more swelling. Don't worry, this is normal and the swelling should go down after a few weeks. The full healing process can take anything from six to nine months.

During your shower, allow the water to rinse over the piercing for about 15-30 seconds. Then you can use sterile saline spray to disinfect it. Don't sleep on the side where your Conch piercing is.
