In Breaking Dawn, the arrival of the Denali, the Volturi, and others caused more werewolves to unintentionally emerge, increasing the packs' numbers and becoming the biggest in Quileute history. While Jacob's father Billy Black isn't a werewolf, he still helped with the fight in his own way.
His wife, Sarah Black, died in a car accident when Rachel, Rebecca, and Jacob were young. He resides in La Push, Washington, and is confined to a wheelchair due to complications from diabetes.
Taylor Lautner on his character. Jacob Black is a shape-shifter or "werewolf" of the Quileute tribe, former Beta of the Uley pack, and Alpha of his own. In Twilight, he is fifteen years old, and in New Moon, he phases into a wolf for the first time at the age of sixteen.
Members of the Quileute wolf-pack do age if they do not phase for a long time; Jacob's body has physically grown to the equivalent of a 25-year-old in Breaking Dawn but stops aging after that. Jacob is the largest and strongest of the pack.
The initial transformation seems to be triggered by anger, as explained by Jacob when he tells Bella about his first transformation. He phased later than most due to his happiness with her, and then all it took was his father telling him he looked weird to set him off.
Edward's got the upperhand in mind reading and MAYBE speed, while Jacob's got the upperhand in overall strength. I said that Edward might have the upperhand in speed but might not, because although he's the fastest Cullen, werewolves are faster than vampires in general, and it's not like Jacob's slow at all.
Jacob later became the Alpha of his own pack after an argument between him and Sam. Traditionally, the Alpha of the pack is the leader of the entire Quileute tribe. The position of Alpha can apparently be fought over, but it seems the lineage of the wolf has more to do with it.
Alpha. The alpha is the leader of the pack, they try their best to keep up with what's going on within the pack. They see each of the pack members as family and make important decisions that reflect the growth and welfare of the pack. The alpha creates the rules for the pack and makes sure they are properly enforced.
The Primordials are the most powerful werewolves in existence and no werewolf can match their power, they possess some abilities that normal werewolves don't. Their abilities are at their peak during a full moon. Heightened Senses - Primordials have extremely enhanced, keen senses of hearing, sight, smell, and taste.
When they phase into a wolf for the first time, they stop aging. There are plenty-a-plot-holes here BUT if Jacob maintains a regularly scheduled shape shift, he can essentially stay young forever. This is a good thing because Renesmee will be Jacob's age physically in a mere few years.
He would most probably die depending on how severe it was. Jacob said in Eclipse that if a vampire bit him, or one of the other shape-shifter, it wouldn't kill him, but if he already had a cut of something to that affect(combined with the venom) that could be fatal.
Jacob will live as long as he keeps phasing and he won't stop as long as Ren is alive. So technically he CAN live forever but he could also be killed by a vampire, another wolf-shifter or Ren could die by one of those and Jacob would stop phasing and die of old age.
Bella's mind shield is able to block any vampire power that affects her brain. That's why Edward and Aro couldn't read her mind, Jane couldn't make her feel pain (it was only creating the illusion of pain), and Zafrina couldn't make her see visual projections she was able to make everyone else see.
The son of a clergyman obsessed with rooting out all evil, Carlisle was bitten during a vampire hunt. After becoming a vampire, Carlisle learned to hunt animals so that he would not have to feed on humans.
After being mauled by a black bear in 1935, Emmett was rescued by Rosalie, and given a second chance at life after being turned into a vampire by Carlisle at Rosalie's request.
Once upon a time, there lived a king named Lycaon. He ruled over the land of Arcadia and had thousands of men and women under his command. His palace was filled with gold, fine foods and elaborate artwork, but one thing he did not have was love.
In Greek mythology, Lycaon was a king of Arcadia, son of Pelasgus, who is believed to be one of the first mortals to walk on Earth, and Meliboea. He is regarded as the first werewolf in existence and thus the king of all werewolves and strongest of them all.
Early Werewolf Legends
According to the legend, Lycaon, the son of Pelasgus, angered the god Zeus when he served him a meal made from the remains of a sacrificed boy. As punishment, the enraged Zeus turned Lycaon and his sons into wolves.
But when the alpha pair is killed, there is no suppression, and as a result more and younger wolves tend to breed. This study also noted that when breeders die of natural causes, it was less likely to result in the pack dissolving than when the death of the breeder was human-caused.
In most wolf packs, there will be an alpha male and female and frequently an omega male and female. In wolf hierarchy, the males tend to dominate other males and the females dominate other females so that there is generally a low ranking member of each sex.
Delta Wolf is the first 'Smart' airgun that can automatically adjust to suit the shooter needs. Building on nearly two decades of electronic expertise, Daystate has leapt forward taking the concept of electronically controlled precharged air rifles to a new level.
Because Jacob has imprinted with Renesmee, Edward breaks Jacob's arm and throws him at a wall to keep him away from fighting the other werewolves.
The Alpha werewolf is revealed to be Derek's uncle, Peter Hale (Ian Bohen), who was the only survivor of the fire. Kate reveals to Derek that it was she who started the fire, and she also reveals the existence of werewolves to Allison. Chris Argent finds out that Scott is a werewolf, but realizes he is innocent.
Sam Uley: Sam is the wolf that scares Laurent away from Bella Swan in New Moon, and is described as enormous, jet black, as tall as a horse, but thicker and much more muscular, with dagger-like incisors, and a grisly snarl like a prolonged crack of thunder.
