Kong may very well be the only remaining Titan that can match
Godzilla was the actual winner of both battles between Godzilla and King Kong, but after Kong helped him defeat Mechagodzilla, Godzilla left Kong alone after the primate king dropped the ax. When Kong did that, Godzilla knew Kong was no longer a threat to him, and both seemingly accepted each other.
Looking at the trailer, however, there are some clues as to how Kong could come out on top. Though the electricity absorbing powers are highly unlikely to return, the point of it was that all that he absorbed made him incredibly strong and led him to be able to overpower Godzilla.
However, Kong is more comfortable on land, faster and more agile, can use his strong legs to jump, and possesses much stronger arms than Godzilla – Kong probably packs a walloping punch. And as an ape, Kong would also likely use tools to some degree and might even capitalize on his throwing ability.
Godzilla is definitely stronger than Kong, and they're rivals because the movie was made for them to fight each other.
Kaido's human form boasts godly durability and strength, and he also ate a Devil Fruit that grants him a gigantic dragon form that's even stronger. In this reptilian form, Kaido could most certainly defeat Godzilla in a clash of the titans and prove all the legends about him true.
King Ghidorah is considered Godzilla's greatest rival and for good reason. He's bigger, badder, and stronger than any other kaiju Godzilla has fought. Being able to fly and having three heads, King Ghidorah proves to be a lot to handle and Godzilla usually needs aid from others to be able to take him down.
Kong, who is physically weaker than Godzilla, likely would have fallen if he had endured as many of these energy-charged punches as Godzilla did. It should also be noted Mechagodzilla was designed specifically for fighting Godzilla.
Though Godzilla is a very close second, it's hard to top the battle with the Vastatosaurus Rex. These evolved Rexes are pretty much the only villains who are close to bringing harm to Kong.
Godzilla respected Kong's decision to end their battle and ultimately the war. This started a new era and Godzilla and Kong are now equal kings in their realms. Godzilla is king of the monsters. Kong is king of hollow earth.
Plot. Traveling the world, Godzilla and King Kong demonstrate tenets of friendship. They play with the Eiffel Tower and various military vehicles, meet up with Mechagodzilla near a playground, and use a forest for hide-and-seek and the Gateway Arch as a swingset.
In the context of Godzilla vs. Kong, if Godzilla had been killed by Kong that likely would mean that Kong would in turn have been killed by Mechagodzilla afterwards. Given how the battle played out, it's extremely unlikely that Kong would have been able to defeat Mechagodzilla by himself.
Why Is Kong So Big in Godzilla vs. Kong? Well, the bare-bones explanation is that if another creature is going to take on Godzilla, it needs to be equal in strength and power. And since Kong doesn't fly, he needs to get sized-up considerably in order to square off against "The Zill."
No. Even with the axe he wasn't able to fully take down godzilla. Kong has shown NO feats that supports he could turley beat godzilla. What type of environment is best suited for King Kong if he were to fight Godzilla?
He ended the fight by not fighting anymore, he stopped considering Godzilla as an enemy and rather as an ally, as evidenced by the MechaGodzilla fight. He knew Godzilla would not stop fighting him if he kept going, already exhausted and beat up, he knew he could not win, so he put down the ax.
I liked that it's shown throughout GvK that Kong is afraid when fighting Godzilla at least at first or when he's losing.
That means that Kong would be able to bench press 16.6 million pounds (74 million Newtons).
Kong has the potential to use guerrilla tactics or surprise attacks. That alone makes him way smarter than Godzilla. Also age doesn't have any influence on intelligence. Godzilla lived for milions of years but he stayed in hibernation most of his life.
Godzilla. Gojira, aka Godzilla, is a radioactive monster that was accidentally created by man. He's been around since 1954 and has appeared in 29 films and 20 video games.
Carl Denham is the main antagonist of the 1933 classic monster film King Kong, its 1932 novelization and its various adaptations and remakes, from 1998's The Mighty Kong to 2005's Peter Jackson's King Kong.
Weakness: Kong Has "Thin" Skin
Sharp objects can also cut through his skin, as his arms and hands have several deep cuts after the first fight.
When a demonic Space Godzilla attacks him, however, the angels fly into Godzilla's mouth, gifting him enough divine power to obliterate Space Godzilla. Through a portal, God once again entreats Godzilla to join him, to which the King of Monsters responds with divine infused atomic breath, destroying God.
Ghidorah is Godzilla's greatest foe, and it isn't close. This alien creature sports three deadly serpent-like heads, it can fly, and it's capable of withstanding everything Godzilla can throw at it. Though the King Kaiju manages to win in the end, it's usually by the skin of his teeth.
