In Norse mythology Kratos can lift thors hammer as there is no such worthiness enchantment as in the mcu. People with sufficient strength can lift it such as giants(or other gods) who have stolen his hammer on multiple occasions.
Prior to the release of God of War Ragnarök, many fans found themselves thrilled at the idea of using Mjölnir after defeating Thor. While it is true that the hammer would have been an incredible asset for the player, it cannot be wielded or even picked up by Kratos (nor Atreus) for several reasons.

Canonically we know that Kratos has been buying armor, equipment, and getting upgrades from Brok and Sindri throughout God of War 2018.
Unfortunately for fans looking to pick up the iconic hammer, neither Kratos nor Atreus can wield the mighty Mjölnir in God of War Ragnarok.
It's an interpretation of when he flipped Tyr's temple. Some people took that as him actually lifting and flipping the weight of all nine realms.
The Leviathan is a two-handed war axe that is Kratos' main offensive weapon in God of War.
It was tough to put Mjolnir above the Blades of Chaos. We never got to see it in action during God of War so the legends have to speak. Thor used Mjolnir to kill all of the giants, which was no doubt a difficult task. Mjolnir also increases Thor's ability to control electricity, rain, wind, and thunder.
The Blades of Chaos were Kratos' signature weapon in past God of War games, but when you start the latest game, they're nowhere in sight. The Leviathan Axe is plenty cool, but there's plenty of fans who want Kratos to wield the Blades of Chaos once again.
Eventually, Thor was able to grab hold of Kratos after breaking his shield, understanding how his sons were defeated at his hands, but explains that he is someone totally different who is able to put up a challenging fight against Kratos.
Unlike the others, Zeus is not worthy to lift Mjolnir, but through a loophole, he can anyway. If Mjolnir is to enter his domain, Zeus's MCU powers should override Odin's enchantment, meaning he can hold Mjolnir. He may not be worthy, but technically Zeus is the fifth character who can lift Mjolnir in the MCU's Phase 4.
And Mathaudhu can cite documentary sources to back him up. For example, Marvel – which publishes the Thor comics – issued a “Thor's Hammer” trading card in 1991 that states Mjolnir is made of Uru and weighs precisely 42.3 pounds. That's lighter than a herd of 300 billion mice, much less a herd of 300 billion elephants.
Of course, Thor does kill Kratos in that battle but immediately brings him back to life in a fun gameplay twist. This, however, was not related. Elsewhere the pair discussed the amount of puzzle assistance provided by side characters, something that was widely criticised after release.
Believe it or not, we actually know exactly how tall Kratos is thanks to this oddly detailed technical breakdown video from Santa Monic Studio's Axel Grossman. Kratos is exactly six feet and four inches tall (or about 1.93 meters, if that helps) in God of War: Ragnarok.
In their first fight, Thor strikes kratos in the head and easily KO/"Kills" him. In the rematch, Kratos takes the same blow to the skull and just shrugs it off like it was nothing. Probably ties into the whole "strong as he needs to be" theory imo.
The Winner: Old Kratos
Old Kratos from the Norse God of War games takes the trophy for the strongest Kratos.
The large golden weapon pulsed with power and, being a weapon forged by the mightiest god in Olympus, it could unleash a powerful blast of godly might. In the end, the Blade of Olympus was the only weapon with which Kratos could finally defeat Zeus and thereby the Pantheon of Greek gods he despised so much.
The chains of the blades were permanently seared onto the forearms of the wielder, which served as a reminder of their oath to the God of War, and could only be removed either by the God of War himself or when the wielder's time of servitude ended.

Doctor Doom
Not everyone who has lifted Thor's hammer was worthy to hold Mjolnir. A perfect example of this is Doctor Doom, one of the world's most dangerous villains. While Doctor Doom is a master of magic and science, it was his luck in finding the hammer that allowed him to wield it.
The Blade of Olympus is a powerful sword with the unique ability to hold power in reserve, but it's one of the most iconic weapons in the franchise because of the role it plays in vital story moments. With the Blade of Olympus in hand, Kratos changed the world.
In God of War Ragnarök, it's likely that Kratos is around 1,055 years old. He's something of an old man, but as a demigod, he is still more than young enough to hold his own and then some in battle. Unfortunately, this is based on maths and educated guesses. Kratos's age is never told in the games.
The Guardian Shield is a retractable round shield seen in God of War present on Kratos' left gauntlet. It is used to parry and block enemy attacks and can also be used offensively in combination with the Blades of Chaos and Kratos' fists.
Yet kratos's strongest feat was in GoW2 i believe in which he resisted the force of the mghty titan atlas and khronos from crushing him. Atlas was cursed to forvever hold the earth atop his shoulders, and failed to crush kratos. This strength feat equates to around 300–400 quintillion tons, (i think?)
