Gear 5 is Luffy's pinnacle power, and he can do anything he wants in this form. Furthermore, it is mentioned that his powers are only limited by his imagination. With this gear unlocked, Luffy is said to resemble the “Warrior of Liberation” — Sun God Nika, who is said to bring smiles, joy, and freedom to the people.
Despite the tremendous power Gear 5 provides Luffy, it has plenty of drawbacks. It consumes plenty of energy to maintain and use. Luffy only used this for a short time, but it was enough to completely deplete his stamina to the point of making him visible age due to exhaustion and fatigue.

Luffy's Gear 5 allows him to inflate his fist almost to the size of Onigashima and infuse it with Busoshoku and Haoshoku Haki. He then unleashes it at his opponent to land a devastating blow.

Saitama wins easy. With his ridiculous strength he could simply grab luffy and throw him into orbit, or dunk him in the ocean. or run around him fast enough to deprive luffy of oxygen. there are plenty of passive ways for saitama to kill or incapacitate luffy without haki.
So, Luffy's Gear 5 is the latest gear technique in his arsenal. It is the awakened form of Luffy's Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika devil fruit (not Gomu Gomu no Mi, as revealed by Silvers Rayleigh). Gear 5 is even considered to be the peak form of Luffy, unlike any other we have seen before.
According to Toei Animation, the studio behind the anime, the series will show Gear 5 next Sunday, August 6, 2023. It will be during episode 1071, although it is very likely that the ending of episode 1070 will turn everything upside down (just look at its title: Luffy's Defeat!!!? The Determination of Others).
However, physical blows without Haki don't work on him due to his rubber body, and the only slashing-style ninjutsu Sakura is shown to know is a scalpel-like blade. With that being her only weapon to hurt Luffy with, it's likely she will lose this fight in embarrassing fashion.
Gear 5 is only powerful because Luffy has great haki. If Luffy didn't have any haki, his Gear 5 attacks would literally do nothing to Kaido. All Gear 5 does is let Luffy more easily punch and tank attacks.
Gear 5 is Luffy's strongest form, here are its strongest attacks. Monkey D. Luffy is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea in the One Piece world, a title he received after defeating the strongest creature alive, Kaido, in the Wano Country arc.
Luffy can bend reality to a certain extent. He can turn any other substance that he touches into rubber. Even elemental attributes such as lightning and clouds can be turned into rubber. While this could likely be a result of the long and hard-fought battle with Kaido on Onigashima and his way up to it beforehand, it could also imply that Gear Five has the biggest strain on Luffy's body out of all.

Luffy's Gear 5th transformation is marked with an iconic laugh and this was apparent from the very first time he transformed into this state. The more he laughed, the better he seemed to fight.
It depends on how quick the fight will last. Luffy's Gears are costly and can't be maintained for long stretches of time and neither can Baryon Mode for Naruto. Due to the number of drawbacks the Baryon Mode brings, Luffy will probably clinch victory in Naruto vs.
Gear 5 ("Gear Fifth") is the awakened form of the Gomu Gomu no Mi, which strengthens the user's rubbery body. It also allows the user the ability to manipulate and transform their environment, similar to a Paramecia's awakening. Luffy achieved this ability during his final battle with Kaidou on Onigashima.
As of now, the answer is no. Luffy has unlocked 5 Gear techniques, with Gear 5 being his peak form. There exists no Gear 6 technique at the moment. But we hope that Luffy will be able to level up the Gear 5 technique to surprise us with a new Gear 6 form in the final saga of One Piece.
Goku is already a master of many abilities and operates at a much higher level than Luffy at his most powerful. While Luffy's Gear Fifth abilities are indeed impressive, they are not equal to Son Goku's mastery.
Even though he entered his Gear 5th state, Luffy is much stronger than Lucci, even in his awakened form. Luffy has not surpassed Shanks just yet, otherwise, their future fight would hold no significant value. Luffy is close to Shanks in terms of power and it is only after their fight that he will officially be able to call himself stronger than Shanks. For now, Red Hair reigns supreme.
