Luke Skywalker in particular was able to utilize a Emerald Lightning instantaneously kill his targets. The rogue Jedi Master Kenth Hamner used lightning on the Jedi he defeated during his rebellion against the Jedi Order, in order to make sure they could not swiftly awaken.
With his powers amplified by a Force dyad, Sidious unleashed a storm of Force lightning upon his enemies above Exegol. Although its use was officially forbidden by the Jedi Order for most of its history, light-siders like the Jedi could also use this power.
Jedi Code forbids Jedi from using Force lightning because to conjure it, one must seek strength that would put them in danger of falling to the Dark Side. However, some Jedi can create electrical judgment and other Force lightning-like powers, such as electrical judgment.
Oneness: Luke's ultimate ability, he can tap into the Light Side of the Force and embrace it so much that he unifies with it for a short period of time, becoming an extension of its will.
As the Death Star closes in on the Rebel base, Luke Skywalker trusts his feelings and uses the Force to fire the shot heard 'round the galaxy.
Despite his late start in Jedi training, Luke Skywalker excelled and became one of the most powerful Jedi of his time.
The Jedi however also have three outliers in that of Luke, Leia, and Cade Skywalker (23000/23000/21000 midi-chlorians respectively) all of which were children/descendants of Anakin Skywalker (the chosen one) and so genetically predisposed to having abnormally-high midi-chlorian counts for Jedi.
Powers. The Force: As the son of the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker, he was immensely powerful and had a amazingly strong connection to the Force, stronger than most Force users alive. Like his father, Luke possessed a powerful connection to the Force.
Luke Skywalker, a Force-sensitive human male, was a legendary Jedi Master who fought in the Galactic Civil War during the reign of the Galactic Empire.
However, despite their strict adherence to the light side of the Force, several Jedi were known to use this power, as although it was considered a dark side ability, it was also a technique of telekinesis. Its use, however, was forbidden by the Jedi.
Darth Vader can not use force lighting, because of his severed arms. Robotic hands can't summon the force lighting. However Darth Vader can still use other forms of the force, such as force choke.
Grandmaster Yoda himself was capable of summoning force lightning in the form of Emerald Lightning. Galen Marek was an extremely skilled user of this Force power, even after his conversion to the light side, rivaling Darth Sidious.
Either way, while Vader can use most other Force abilities, Force Lightning needs to be channeled, and Vader's limbs are explicitly not connected to the Force. The Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith Visual Dictionary confirms Darth Vader cannot use Force Lightning, and even suggests this is the reason why.
Force Crush was possibly the darkest Force ability known to both the Sith and the Jedi. It was a more advanced form of the Force Grip ability. This ability lifted the opponent into the air, and as they were floating, their body literally imploded as it was crushed from within by the Force.
George Lucas has stated that while Anakin had the most potential, in the form of a high midichlorian count, Luke Skywalker is the most powerful Jedi of all time — yes, topping Yoda, Revan, Nomi Sunrider, etc.
Darth Revan
Many have described him as being the most powerful Force User of all time, making him superior to even Luke Skywalker and Yoda. Darth Revan had the ability to wield the powers of both the light side and dark side of the Force.
Luke trains to be a Jedi under Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda and rebuilds the Jedi Order. He later trains his nephew Ben Solo and mentors Rey.
This would not have surprised viewers though since, in his prime, Luke was more powerful than Obi-Wan. Although Obi-Wan was one of the strongest Jedi in the Star Wars franchise, Luke became the Chosen One after Anakin turned to the dark side.
Darth Vader
Also known as Anakin Skywalker. One of the most classic cases of “good to evil” known to entertainment, and quite possibly the strongest Star Wars character ever.
Anakin would not have been able to be surpassed by Luke, Darth Vader lost a great deal of his force potential when he lost his arms and legs. Luke was (for the most part) an intact human and was the offspring of Anakin, giving him probably a bigger force potential than Vader.
The highest known midi-chlorian count—over 20,000 per cell—belonged to the Jedi Anakin Skywalker, who was believed to have been conceived by the midi-chlorians.
Over 20,000. Not even Master Yoda has a midichlorian count that high.”
What is the lowest Midichlorian count? Counts as low as 2,000 midi-chlorians per cell provided no sensitivity to the Force; an average Human had less than 2,500 per cell, while a mildly Force-sensitive being such as Nova Stihl had a count in excess of 5,000.
