Eye contact is supposed to mean something, and for some of us, it means too much – so we avoid it. It is considered to be a way of communicating that a person is listening, but for some of us, it's impossible to look and listen at the same time. It can cause a sensory overload.
To others, they may come across as insensitive, uncaring or irresponsible, which can damage their relationships. As a result, many adults with ADHD have chronic feelings of frustration, guilt or blame. They may develop low self-esteem, anxiety or mood problems.
Common symptoms associated with problems with vision and ADHD include: Difficulty with reading and writing. Covering one eye while reading. Trouble sitting still or focusing during class and homework.

Symptoms of Mood Swings in ADHD
Switching from excited one moment to sad, angry, or anxious the next. Fluctuating between having trouble paying attention and hyperfocusing on an activity. Having bursts of energy and fatigue through the day. Feeling emotions intensely and having difficulty regulating them.
People living with ADHD may have a variety of skills and abilities beyond those of their neurotypical counterparts. These may include hyperfocus, resilience, creativity, conversational skills, spontaneity, and abundant energy.
Symptoms of predominately hyperactive-impulsive ADHD may include: fidgeting, squirming, or difficulty staying seated. extreme restlessness, or in children, excessive running and climbing. excessive talking and blurting out.
