No matter how thin you are, you can still get Type 2 diabetes.
The lifestyle that puts thin people are risk for diabetes includes: Little or no physical activity. Eating too many carbohydrates, especially from simple sources like sugary drinks. Not managing stress.
It's common. And most importantly, it's reversible. You can prevent or delay prediabetes from turning into type 2 diabetes with simple, proven lifestyle changes.
Blurry vision, increased urination, feeling hungry, extreme thirst, and finding that you have itchy, dry skin are all warning signs that you could be in the early stages of type 2 diabetes. Some other signs may be harder to pin down.
