Vibranium is the strongest metle on earth.
This means that given the right circumstances, adamantium can potentially cut through pure vibranium. If we had to pit the shield versus the claws, since the shield is a vibranium alloy, not just pure vibranium, it can withstand the attack of adamantium claws.
The comics have told a different story: ferocious slashes and bashes from Wolverine's claws can beat most supervillains and super-mutants, but most of the time they can't break through Captain America's trusty shield.
So while it may not be as strong as Adamantium, Vibranium definitely has more uses. In Marvel comics Wolverine's claws (made from True Adamantium) have cut through Black Panther's suit (made from Wakandan Vibranium). Making Adamantium the clear winner.
Vibranium is not unbreakable or impossible to damage, true Adamantium is denser and with a way superior penetrating force that allows it to cut through almost anything. BP's armor would give him protection and would be really hard to go completely through but Logan can damage it.
His adamantium claws are one of the few weapons in the Marvel Universe that can consistently pierce Hulk's skin and Wolverine has no problem going for Hulk's head. In fact, if it came down to it, Wolverine could cut Hulk's head off, ending the Hulk once and for all.
Both mutants are ostensibly on the same side; they differ greatly in temperament but are not afraid to fight for mutants against a world that hates them. While Colossus uses his brute strength, Wolverine uses his claws, which can cut through almost anything - except Colossus himself.
Thanos' Sword Is Made From Uru
Uru is a special metal in the Marvel universe that is said to only be created in the core of dying stars, making it ultra rare and incredibly strong. In fact, Thor's Mjolnir is made of the Uru metal making it comparable to Thanos's sword in terms of strength.
Magnets. Wolverine's biggest strength–his metal skeleton–also leads to his key weakness: magnets. From the movies and the comic books we know that Logan is extremely vulnerable to magnetic fields, as Magneto can twist and toss him as he pleases with a mutant ability to control magnetic fields.
The Blob's elastic, blubbery skin is difficult to penetrate by gunfire, missiles, and even Wolverine's claws, though with sufficient force and a favorable angle, the claws can lacerate his flesh.
Wolverine once tried to dig his claws into Juggernaut and was stunned to learn he barely made a scratch on the powerful brute. Wolverine has sparred against some of the most powerful heroes and villains in the entire Marvel Universe.
5 ULTIMATE HULK
The most famous example of the Ultimate Hulk breaking adamantium, however, came later on in the "Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk" miniseries by Darren Lindelof and Leinil Francis Yu, where Wolverine was sent by Nick Fury to kill the Hulk.
Unlike adamantum, Magneto cannot manipulate vibranium – not if it's pure. Vibranium is a rare, extraterrestrial metallic ore. It has near-mystical properties that allow for energy manipulation and more. There is a Wakandan isotope and an Antarctic isotope, and both of them are completely unaffected by Magneto's powers.
The adamantium covering Wolverine's bone claws is one of the strongest metals in the entire Marvel universe, but as tough and unbreakable as it may be, the comics themselves prove they're no match for Thor's hammer Mjolnir.
Vibranium can also cut the Hulk due to the same reasoning as Adamantium -- they are two of the strongest metals in the world. The one thing to note is that when Hulk gets angrier, his skin becomes more durable and can then withstand even these metals.
Primary adamantium was the product of the attempt to do so - and it came pretty close. This is the stuff that was used on Wolverine, and it's rarely ever been broken. But Mjolnir has come up against adamantium before - and it definitely left a mark.
Although the Merc with a Mouth and everyone's favorite adamantium clawed X-Men have both used their near-immortal powers to return from the dead, there is a strong case to be made that Wade Wilson's healing is far preferable to that of Logan.
Foreign Chemical Immunity: Wolverine's natural healing also affords him the virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs, except in massive doses.
Being crushed by a train is just one of the crazy things Wolverine has survived. Wolverine has suffered more than probably any other superhero. He's been shot at, stabbed, eaten by a Tyrannosaur Rex, and sustained a thousand other injuries that would kill the average man.
Thanos' IQ is over 9000.
The seventh Gem was hidden in an unknown realm known as the Ultraverse. This goldish color gem was said to obtain the essence of Nemesis. She was the omnipotent being, which shattered herself across two universes, because she grown tired of her own existence.
James Kakalios, a physics, and astronomy professor at the University of Minnesota suggests a substance known as graphene would be the closest substance to vibranium known to man. Graphene is an ultra-thin form of carbon; only one atom thick.
By manipulating the adamantium that laced Wolverine's skeleton, Magneto ripped the metal out of his body, almost tearing him apart in the process. After the metal resolidified, Wolverine was left incapacitated with large aluminum spikes sticking out of his body.
His indestructible adamantium skeleton makes him immune to most forms of decapitation or amputation, despite suffering several grotesque injuries.
Wolverine- Bone Claws, Regeneration
In one interesting storyline, after the House of M story, Rogue absorbed the powers of Wolverine. She used his mutation for one thing and one thing alone: revenge. She plummeted her newfound bone claws straight through the heart of Scarlet Witch.
