According to the Monash University low FODMAP app the safe serving size for apple cider vinegar is 2 tablespoons.
Balsamic Vinegar: A low FODMAP serving is 1 tablespoon or 21 grams. Larger servings contain higher amounts of excess fructose. Dijon Mustard is low FODMAP in servings of 1 tablespoon or 23 grams.
Serve size: 20g per serve is low FODMAP.
Red wine vinegar is low FODMAP in servings of 2 tablespoons or 42 grams.
Malt vinegar, for the record, contains no FODMAPs, so you can be as liberal as you like. Red wine vinegar, another salad dressing favorite, has a generous low FODMAP serving size of 2 Australian tablespoons, as does rice wine vinegar and apple cider vinegar. So, you can see that you have choices.
