“So excited to go inside.” While this castle is small, we were really excited to be able to walk inside. It's just a small walk through, but still really cool.
If you don't mind walking up stairs, the castle is such an enchanting attraction to walk through. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself into the story of Sleeping Beauty and really feel the magic of the fairytale. The castle walkthrough entrance is on the west side of the building inside Fantasyland.
The castle has an archway that you can walk through from one side to another, and I would highly recommend doing so. You'll be able to see some gorgeous mosaics that show special scenes from Cinderella's story. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to tour the castle in its entirety.

A Walk Through History
Inspired by Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria, Sleeping Beauty Castle opened on July 17, 1955, along with Disneyland Park. Guests could not actually walk through the castle's interior until 1957.
To access the tunnel that runs through Cinderella Castle you need to walk to the right of the castle stage. The pathway will allow you to walk right through the castle. One of the benefits of walking through the castle is that you get to see some of the most beautiful artwork in all of Magic Kingdom.
