Death Stranding Episode 14 - Lou is the final part of the game, following on from the final boss and Episode 13. It features one final order, and what follows is another Episode 15: Tomorrow is in your Hands, allowing you to continue playing beyond the ending.
In terms of the final events of the game, after the 'Last Stranding' is averted, Sam is given one final task by BRIDGES. Their bridge baby, Lou, has started to die, their body 'necrotising' inside the pod. They are asked to deliver the baby to incinerate it, so that it doesn't trigger a voidout.
My answer is a resounding YES. Death Stranding is a beautiful game, excelling in its scenery, story, character designs, voice acting, and more. Although we can't deny that the game is one huge walking simulator, it does enough to change the formula up a bit, making your walking actually challenging.
In a panic, having certainly not intended on killing BB, Amelie rushes to the beach [Her beach, sam's beach?] and revives BB, thereby giving renewed life to what eventually becomes Sam, and explains his ability to repatriate from death.
Death Stranding
Death Stranding has earned its place in the hall of fame for being one of the most boring games of all time. That said, a lot of fans will argue that its slow tempo is what makes the game the award-winning masterpiece it is.
Kojima wanted to tell the story in a very specific way, so unless some intrepid explorer discovers some ultra-secret hidden ending, assume that there's only one way for the game to end.
By some accounts, Death Stranding was a flop when it first came out. According to one ResetEra post from 2020, Sony was reportedly unhappy with the game's sales, with the author of the post claiming 3 million copies of Death Stranding were sitting in warehouses as of March of that year.
When focusing on the main objectives, Death Stranding is about 40½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 113 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
On the Beach, Sam was healed and brought back to life by Amelie, who bestowed to him the ability of repatriation. No longer viable as a bridge baby by virtue of being a repatriate, he was taken into Bridget's care and raised as her son, Sam Strand.
Necrosis. Should the body fail to be disposed of in this timeframe, it will undergo Necrosis and eventually become a Beached thing. Afterwards, it will kill the nearest human, resulting in a Voidout. This will destroy the entire map, instantly killing the player and causing a game over.
Much of the crying in Death Stranding is just a slightly more complex version of the kind of allergies many people experience. Instead of being allergic to cats, dust, or tree pollen, Sam 'Porter' Bridges and many of the primary characters have an allergic response to something called Chiralium.
At the last second before the doors of the incinerator shuts, he snatches Lou's pod and remembers Deadman's words that there is a 70% chance of catastrophic failure when removing a BB from its pod. Sam reconnects his cord with Lou one last time and sees a flashback of the scene where Cliff is fleeing the room.
Episode 14 consists of just one Order, so this is the only page you'll need for it, and we've included order 69 and it's walkthrough below. You have one last delivery to make, and it's a heartbreaker. You have to deliver your tried and true BB's corpse to the incinerator, a poetic end to how you started your journey.
You will see immediate negative consequences if you kill other humans, called MULEs. The more people you kill, the more your world will be littered with invisible BTs. This will make the game more challenging. Pack nonlethal weapons when given the choice.
4 Death Stranding - 31 Minutes
The longest cutscene is 31 minutes, and while the game received good reviews, at some point you've got to wonder if you're playing a video game or just watching TV.
Overall, Death Stranding: Director's Cut is the same game but with added content. At its best, the game provides stable gameplay, an intriguing story, and an interesting set of characters. While it's definitely not a game for everyone, I believe it'll provide a unique experience to those willing to take the leap.
Death Stranding features a total of 7 hours of cutscenes with its longest video game cutscene being 31 minutes. Critics have praised Kojima's artistic vision, especially its climax.
How to complete one of the toughest episodes yet. Death Stranding Episode 8 - Heartman is one of the most challenging part of the game, following on from the arrival at Heartman's Lab in Episode 7. You'll be trudging through a snow-covered region linking together several facilities.
Frightening & Intense Scenes (7)
The creatures may scare some players. Some jump scares.
In my personal opinion, this game is one of the best ever, and I highly recommend it to anyone 15+.
Next, run up to Amalie and there will be a prompt to Hug with R2. Doing so will start a cutscene. This is the only real choice you can make - as otherwise if you fail, it'll start this sequence again. After the cutscene, you'll be on the Beach alone, with some credits rolling.
Although Di-Hardman is holding the weapon, the trigger is pulled by Bridget Strand as she reaches from behind. A bullet strikes the BB as well. We then see the BB appear on a beach where Amelie resurrects BB, aka Sam, for the first time. It is Amelie who gives BB/Sam the power to come back to life, or repatriate.
Sam is the perfect legacy for him, a bridge who brought people together. Cliff gives Sam BB, who we now know is Sam as a baby. The trio embrace. and then saved him when he was lost on the beach.
