You can filter games by normal / nightmare / hell by clicking on the cog wheel on the lobby screen. No issues at all killing Baal. You can either change the option in d2r to see normal games or just solo baal runs for a bit not really that hard just takes longer… Thanks!
After the player has defeated Baal, Tyrael will appear and open a special portal (titled 'Destruction's End'). Upon 'entering' this portal, the game's final cinematic will play and the game will end. Therefore it's advised to return to Harrogath first and finish any business left there.
There are three difficulty ranks in Diablo 2: Resurrected: Normal, Nightmare, and Hell. Normal is playable from the start of the game, and when the final boss, Baal, is defeated, players will unlock Nightmare difficulty. Then, when players kill Baal on Nightmare, they will unlock the last difficulty, Hell.
It's time to do Chaos / Baal runs again, until you reach Level 60, and with it, the next difficulty. After you reach level 60, you will need to rush from Act I to Act V and complete the quest "Right of Passage" in Hell difficulty, since you want to kill the Ancients to get to the next point.
Solo, you must be level 20 to complete Ancients, which will level you to 21, which will allow you to run down to Baal and, as said, possibly kite the minions away to get access to the worldstone chamber and kill Baal.
The level exists on Normal, Nightmare, and Hell, but you need to kill Baal on each difficulty to access their respective cow levels.
To get from 90-99 with Baal runs takes approximately 5500 runs. In classic, the same number of CS runs gets you from 90-93.5.
Levels 26-50: Normal Baal runs (somewhere in the 40s people usually transition to Nightmare - you can't do Nightmare Ancients until 40, but you get decent XP from Normal Baal runs until about 50)
A Baal Run is usually done when trying to beat a Difficulty in the game but can also be repeated for great experience in all stages of the game.
