Hermione knows how to use healing potions, but she isn't Madam Pomfrey. Similarly, she was not able to save Snape in deathly hallows part 2. " 'It's all I feel safe doing,' said Hermione shakily. 'There are spells that would put him completely right, but I daren't try in case I do them wrong and cause more damage....
So Snape was cruel, biased towards his house, and downright rude to his students: this we can't deny. Calling poor Hermione an 'insufferable know-it-all', for example, was pretty terrible.
She apparated previously and was already in shell cottage when dobby arrived. She wasnt madam Pomfrey. Meaning, while she had a general knowledge of various spells, she did not have the expertise in healing specific spells to be able to heal a death wound on a house elf.
For a wound like Dobby's, it was unlikely that either thing could have saved him. Also, the act of apparition is a highly taxing activity. The fact that Dobby was able to apparate three people plus himself while bleeding heavily, it would have been a miracle for him to survive.
Neville Professor Snape Neville fears Professor Snape who treats him rudely with sarcastic comments. Neville seems afraid of this harsh treatment that makes him feel inferior constantly. Parvati Blood-stained, bandaged mummy Parvati is afraid of something that is scary to her, possibly because it can harm her.
Because Minerva was his friend and they were fighting on the same side (even though she didn't know). So, even when Minerva was duelling to kill, he wasn't, and if he had kept on fighting he might have been forced to hurt her. He deflected every attack quite easily, even when Flitwick joined the fight.
Because they knew Bellatrix lost her wand, therefore, showing it would have blown their cover.
After being on the run from a bunch of Snatchers, the gang were taken to Malfoy Manor, where Bellatrix proceeded to torture Hermione using the Cruciatus Curse. It was a testament to Hermione's toughness that she was able to walk away without lasting damage.
Hermione sees Harry as only a friend so she has no trouble hugging him. The same is not true of Ron who she has stronger, unacknowledged feelings for. She doesn't want to hug him for fear it will become immediately and plainly obvious to him and even Harry how she feels about Ron.
Dumbledore had hoped, by having the Elder Wand placed with him in his tomb, that the power of the Wand would then be ended; the wand would transfer its allegiance to the latest person who had captured it, and as Snape had killed Dumbledore, it would be Snape to whom the wand owed its allegiance.
Time Turners can't go back that far. J.K. Rowling has said that it's impossible for those 1-hour Time-Turners to go back farther than 5 hours. (See quote below.) So: She can't.
In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Ginny, Luna, Ron, Hermione, Neville and Harry all see Sirius die, while in the book, Ginny, Luna, Ron and Hermione are in a different room when Sirius dies, and though Harry and Neville see him die, they can both already see Thestrals.
Just like his father, Draco loved to hate on Muggles. He took particular pleasure in taunting Hermione Granger, who just happened to have Muggle parents. Malfoy called her 'Mudblood', a very grave insult referring to a wizard or witch born to non-magic parents.
“You disgust me,” said Dumbledore, and Harry had never heard so much contempt in his voice. Snape seemed to shrink a little, “You do not care, then, about the deaths of her husband and child? They can die, as long as you have what you want?” Snape said nothing, but merely looked up at Dumbledore.
Pursuing, McGonagall screams, "Coward!" Uncloaked, Harry and Luna rush inside, startling the other professors. Snape has leaped out the window. Harry thinks he must be dead, but McGonagall bitterly comments that, unlike Dumbledore, Snape had a wand and has learned a few tricks from "You-Know-Who".
The author explicitly states that both women were fighting to kill, despite Molly refraining from casting the Unforgivable curse Avada Kedavra. The result of the duel actually comes about as a result of nothing more than spectacular accuracy on Weasley's part.
I think we can safely assume he did absolutely nothing to help Hermione but that he also didn't cheer for more and clap as she was tortured with the cruciatus curse.
Why doesn t Harry use Avada Kedavra on Bellatrix? Harry didn't use that spell because he cannot bring himself to kill anyone. He is not a killer.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
In this book, Rowling reveals that Bellatrix is the guardian of Helga Hufflepuff's cup (though she is unaware that it is a Horcrux), which Voldemort has entrusted the Lestranges to keep in their Gringotts vault.
Draco also watched others get killed or thrown into Azkaban for going against Voldemort. He lied to Bellatrix because he feared for Harry and the other prisoners.
Voldemort had foreseen Harry's intentions, and had planted his snake Nagini in Bathilda's corpse beforehand. As soon as she had Harry alone, Nagini attacked him. Hermione raced to his defence, using a Blasting Curse to repel the snake. The curse ricocheted, damaging Harry's wand.
Later in the year, McGonagall duelled with Death Eater Alecto Carrow during the Battle in the Astronomy Tower and later learned of Snape's murder of Dumbledore. McGonagall was initially appointed as Headmistress, but was demoted after Voldemort took control of the school and placed Snape as Headmaster.
Sure McGonagle is more trustworthy in the traditional sense when it comes to her job but Snape was more trustworthy to be triple agent. Snape was more inscrutable. He had the dirt on Snape (he could dangle his feelings towards Lily to get him to agree to anything). Snape could play a double agent more convincingly.
Professor McGonagall considered Harry to be lucky not to have been expelled for such an act, and she full-heartedly supported the detentions, while Pansy Parkinson wasted no time in vilifying Harry. Harry Potter was punished if you would read the book.
