Ben used all of his life energy to resuscitate Rey when she was near death. As a result, he sacrificed himself to return her to life.
Reclaiming his identity as Ben Solo, the redeemed Jedi joined Rey on Exegol to save her from Sidious and defeat him once and for all, though the effort took Rey's life. When Solo sacrificed himself to revive Rey, he died and became one with the Force, joining his parents, uncle, and grandfather.

Why Did Rey Bury the Lightsabers? Since Luke and Leia, her masters, have become one with the Force, this is her way of honoring them by putting their weapons to rest. It also shows that Rey is burying the past while carrying it with her — both in her spirit and in the lightsaber she now wields.

From a Legends point of view, all the female Jedi would get is reprimanding. She will remain in the Jedi Order even if she gets pregnant.
However, she immediately regrets her action, and tearfully kneels to heal him with the Force. As Kylo looks up at her in shock, she tells him that she did want to take his hand when he offered it to her in Snoke's throne room, but that it was Ben's hand she wanted, not Kylo's.
"A voice came to her through the Force, clear and strong. I will always be with you, Ben said," the novelization reveals in the scene. "She smiled.
Once she defeated Palpatine, Rey died and Kylo Ren brought her back through Force healing, at the cost of his own life. Rey kissed Kylo (now Ben as he returned to the light side), but the use of Force healing was too much for him and he died, becoming one with the Force.
For all we know, Leia specifically channeled her own life force into Ben, helping Rey along and sacrificing herself in the process. That may be why Leia finally dies and fades away at the moment Ben revives Rey and fades away himself. When Ben dies, any tether Leia still had to the living world went with him.
Kylo Ren killed his father, Han Solo, this is true. But Kylo was devastated after killing his father. Kylo thought he could kill Han Solo and he would be free, but in reality he was consumed by guilt.
Decades later, Maz Kanata gives Chewbacca the medal once worn by Han, which Leia was holding when she died.
