He trained as a Jedi under his uncle Luke Skywalker but was turned to the dark side of the Force by Supreme Leader
History. A dark side warrior with a mysterious past, Kylo Ren was neither Jedi nor Sith, but a product of both sides' teachings. Once an apprentice of Luke Skywalker's, he killed his fellow students and drove Skywalker into exile, becoming a First Order warlord and servant of Supreme Leader Snoke.
With Solo's guidance, Skywalker was able to grow confident in his usage of the Force and become a powerful Jedi.
But then, in The Rise of Skywalker, after a final battle with Rey and a plea from his mother, Kylo finally gives in to his better nature and becomes Ben Solo for good.
And then, there is the matter of a child...
So, when Ben is 10 years old, Leia and Han send their son to train as a Jedi Apprentice under Leia's brother, Luke Skywalker.
Vernestra, Mirialan, was Padawan to Stellan Gios. She works hard and is devoted to the Jedi Order, more so than most others her age. At sixteen she is one of the youngest Knights in a generation. She struggles to fit in with the adults while also setting a good example for the younger Jedi.
Along with Masters Yoda and Fay, Jedi Master T'ra Saa was among the very oldest of the Jedi to fight in the Clone Wars, being at least several hundred years old. Saa was a combatant in the opening battle of the war, the Battle of Geonosis, and fought as part of Mace Windu's strike team.
The question of why Leia's body only disappears after Ben Solo's death has a few potential answers, but it boils down to Leia's own journey as a Jedi. Her character can be considered one of the most important of the sequel trilogy. Her arc has always been inherently tied with that of her son.
Even though Kylo Ren uses a red lightsaber, harnesses the dark side of the Force, and wears a cape, he is not a Sith. Because of that, he can never hold the title of Darth.
His parents, General Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa, were considered great heroes of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, as was his maternal uncle, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. The heir to the Skywalker bloodline, Ben Solo possessed raw strength in the Force and had the potential for limitless power.
She does not have a baby bump, her hand never goes to her stomach to indicate she's carrying a child, and there wasn't exactly any time for her to have conceived a child with anyone in the course of the film, including Kylo Ren/Ben Solo.
Anakin, who has since become the Sith Lord Darth Vader, is unaware of his children's birth. The twins soon became part of the Rebel Alliance following the deaths of their adoptive families at the hands of the Empire.
So, even when she eventually learns his real name, Leia always associated the Jedi Master with Ben rather than Obi-Wan. Inspired by this, it makes sense that she decided to name her son Ben Solo — after Ben Kenobi.
After beating the rogue Stormtrooper on Starkiller Base, Kylo Ren—the grandson of Darth Vader—tried to claim the weapon that once belonged to his grandfather. Instead, it was taken by Rey. Despite her earlier rejection of it, the scavenger took up the Skywalker lightsaber and engaged Ren in their first lightsaber duel.
According to Star Wars Legends content, the first Sith was a former Jedi Master, Ajunta Pall, who became a so-called Dark Jedi, or “Fallen” Jedi. As the name implies, these Force-sensitives chose to practice the Dark Side, and rejected the Light Side of the Force.
1 Darth Sidious
There has been no Sith, as powerful, meticulous, nor as evil as the Emperor himself, Darth Sidious. As previously mentioned, Sidious trained in the Dark Side by Darth Plagueis before Sidious killed Plagueis in his sleep, making Sidious a Sith Master.
Rey didn't become a Sith Lord imbued with the soul of Palpatine because she didn't kill him, he ultimately killed himself. His greed, recklessness, and thirst for power were his undoing. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is currently in theaters.
Snoke's creator was the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, publicly known as Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine.
Following Palpatine's final defeat and her own resurrection, Rey adopts the name Rey Skywalker to honor her mentors and their family legacy and renounce her lineage. As the last remaining Jedi, she makes it her mission to rebuild the Jedi Order.
She finally unveils the two Skywalker lightsabers: one belonging to Anakin and Luke Skywalker, the other to Leia. She wraps them up and uses the Force to bury them on the planet that will serve as their final resting place.
However, rather than be an oversight or plot hole, Leia might not have remembered old Ben for one sinister reason. This has to do with Ben's Jedi powers, namely the mind trick. As he grew older, he'd use it on Stormtroopers to protect Luke Skywalker.
Arguably, some of the rarest types of Jedi were the so-called Iron Knights. These are members of the Shards species - crystals with a brain of their own. They were Force-sensitive and all trained under the tutelage of Jedi Master Aqinos. The Shards had droid bodies, similar to that of General Grievous.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Through it all, Obi-Wan reveals himself to be one of the very best examples of what a Jedi Knight should be: selfless, kind, and willing to do whatever it takes to protect those in need.
But one Jedi stands above the rest and needs to start getting recognized as the greatest Jedi who ever lived. That is none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi. While this saga is ultimately the story of the Skywalkers, Obi-Wan is arguably the best and most pure Jedi to ever come out of it.
