Surprisingly, Amos Diggory did not once blame Harry Potter for his son Cedric Diggory's death. He was very accepting of Harry's story and his predicament and despite all the grief he felt due to Cedric's death, he never once questioned Harry for what happened.
He sobbed openly when he saw Cedric had died and when he was interviewed about his son's death, but at least didn't blame Harry for it, and contrary, believed Harry's claim of Voldemort's return and thanked him for returning Cedric's body.
Cedric's death is a major plot point in the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, in which Harry and Ginny Weasley's son Albus uses a Time-Turner and prevents Cedric's death. Due to his humiliation in the Triwizard Tournament, Cedric eventually becomes a Death Eater and kills Neville Longbottom.
Amos Diggory was a wizard who is the head in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures at the Ministry of Magic. He and his wife lost their son Cedric in 1995, when he was murdered by Peter Pettigrew on Lord Voldemort's orders.
Harry had both the motivation and the opportunity to kill Cedric. Harry meets Cedric and his loving father Amos at the outset of the book. He's jealous of Diggory's relationship with his parents. He was bullied by Cedric's friends throughout fourth year, who wore "Potter Stinks!" badges and tormented him.
Once Cedric dies, all of that resentment passes away in the face of Amos's terrible grief. When Harry speaks to the Diggorys after the third task, "Mr. Diggory [sobs] through most of the interview" (37.2). He doesn't blame Harry at all for Cedric's fate.
Normally a heroic character, in an alternate timeline created by the meddling of Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy, Cedric Diggory becomes a Death Eater and in fact is instrumental in helping to achieve victory for Lord Voldemort and his followers, leading to a dystopian timeline.
“Take my body back to my father.” This quote is certainly a sad one to end on, because these are Cedric Diggory's last words. While Harry Potter duels Voldemort in a graveyard, Cedric's corpse lies by the portkey, both discarded as useless objects by the Dark Lord. But then Harry's spell does something extraordinary.
He didn't think it was fair that Cedric was killed the night of the Triwizard Tournament, and all he wants to do now is bring Cedric back to his father. So when Albus returns to Hogwarts, he tells his best friend, Scorpius Malfoy, what he wants to try to do.
More importantly, Cedric was a kind and loyal person. After catching the Snitch in a match against Gryffindor in Harry's third year, he offered to replay the game since Harry was unwell. He never got angry at Harry for becoming the second Hogwarts champion and remained friendly even when most of the school didn't.
On a second trip back to 1995, Scorpio and Albus inadvertently humiliate Cedric with an engorgement spell that puts him out of the running for the cup.
Cedric Diggory: Neville Longbottom
He then joins the Death Eaters and kills Neville but, thankfully, Longbottom's death is only temporary.
However even though he was brave, he did not possess the type of courage that goes well with showboating. Rather this Badger showed the essences of being in Hufflepuff. Fair, loyal, compassion and even became collateral damage of the Tri Wizard Tournament. Despite it all though he never spoke highly of his works.
However, they all learned the truth in 1994, when Pettigrew was exposed by Sirius Black and Remus Lupin; "Scabbers" was, in fact, Peter Pettigrew, the wizard who betrayed James and Lily Potter to Lord Voldemort.
The Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge refused to accept Harry Potter's claims that Lord Voldemort had returned, and tried to hush up Cedric's death, claiming that it was a freak accident during the Tournament that killed him.
They Were On Opposing Quidditch Teams
And while Harry is only depicted as a sore loser if Draco Malfoy is involved, he may feel less inclined to be friendly toward Cedric after the latter caught the snitch, giving Hufflepuff a win during Harry's third year.
Though the Sorting ends up plaguing Albus Potter all through school as the only member of his family to set foot in Slytherin, he's there for a reason. And that reason has nothing to do with lineage or attributes or inclination. He just wanted to spend all of his time with Scorpius Malfoy. So he did.
Much of the plot hinges on Harry's tumultuous relationship with his son, Albus — a relationship that culminates in Harry saying, “Sometimes I wish you weren't my son!” And I knew, in my heart of hearts, that Harry would never say that. He just wouldn't.
After Dumbledore's death, his will leaves the resurrection stone-containing snitch to Harry. "To Harry James Potter, I leave the Snitch he caught in his first Quidditch match at Hogwarts, as a reminder of the rewards of perseverance and skill," his will reads.
Dumbledore dies in the sixth book and movie, but he later comes to Harry in a vision when the titular wizard is facing off against Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore's last line is very similar in the final book and movie. He tells Harry in the film, "Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry.
Bellatrix Lestrange
"What will happen to your children when I've killed you?
12. Snape's Last Words. In the [Deathly Hallows] book, Snape's dying words to Harry were "Look at me". Right then we did not realize the significance of his words but in the very next chapter when Harry goes through Snape's memories in the Pensieve, he comes to know how much Snape loved Lily.
The advantage of nonverbal casting is that you don't relay any info to your opponent. If you start shouting an incantation, the opponent has a split second to parry your spell or block it using a specific counterspell. The Avada Kedavra curse, however, cannot be blocked, so you gain nothing by casting it non-verbally.
The Heir of Hufflepuff was none other than Cedric Diggory, who was well on his way to fulfilling the prophecy of the Heir of Hufflepuff when he was tragically murdered by Peter Pettigrew.
Helga Hufflepuff
The founder of Hufflepuff House is by far the greatest Hufflepuff of all time. Along with Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff founded Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
