He embraces her in a bear hug, and begins mocking her and calling her entire attempt to defeat him a waste of effort, assuring her she will live peacefully as a part of him, and mockingly asking her for her last words. She spitefully curses him as he begins to kill her.
Douma said that he had never felt emotions before, but his heart felt like it was beating now. He started doubting his belief that heaven and hell didn't exist and started blushing at Shinobu, quickly developing a crush on her.
Despite her animosity for him, however, Doma would slowly develop an admiration for Shinobu as she struggles fighting despite her small stature and inability to poison him fatally.
While Shinobu was the fastest among the Hashira, her speed proved no match against DÅ ma's, and the Upper Rank demon could even blitz her like she was a child. After killing Shinobu, DÅ ma even went as far as to absorb her afterward as an alternative to eating his victims.
Her death causes Kanao to go berserk, but she is repelled by an irritated Doma, who tells her not to interfere when he's in the middle of devouring someone. He successfully absorbs Shinobu's body into himself, leaving only her butterfly-shaped hair piece and sword behind.
History. Doma was born with beautiful and rare rainbow colored eyes. Because of this unusual trait, his parents thought that he was able to hear the voices of God and was groomed to be the religious leader of the Eternal Paradise Cult, a position that he held until his death.
These people asked him to lead them to paradise, causing Doma to cry, since he never believed paradise, the gods and Buddha were real. To him, they were nothing more that a fantasy created by humanity and he bemoaned that people believed in something so fictitious to him.
Furthermore, Doma is regarded as the coldest and most obnoxious demon. He frequently behaves carelessly around Muzan, which he even hates. All these aspects, as well as Doma's lack of sincerity, irresponsibility, and complete maniac-like nature, fuel Akaza's hatred for him.
Shinobu Kocho was never able to activate her Demon Slayer Mark, and never once considered the possibility of it appearing during their fight against Doma. As the Mark only appears on a strong demon slayer, her chances of activating it weren't good simply because she was the weakest of the Hashira.
In a nutshell, Muzan, being the progenitor of demons, is not scared of Doma. However, he is irritated by his inability to decipher Doma's thoughts and feelings, which is the ultimate control he has over all of his creations. Despite losing his memories, Akaza was noted to have subconsciously retained his strong feelings for Koyuki, this is seen where Doma noted that Akaza absolutely refused to kill and eat women during his hundreds of years as a Demon, despite his obsessive desire for more strength and power.
However, after his death, he accepted that he is wrong and that Heaven and Hell actually do exist. Doma also displayed what arguably is his first true emotion, love, when he proclaimed his love for Shinobu after finding her cute.

Inside of Limbo, Doma, having heard and been touched by Shinobu's strong faith and belief in her comrades and fellow Demon Slayers' ability to defeat the demons and slay Muzan, seemingly begins to develop genuine feelings of romantic attraction towards Shinobu.
However, her playful attitude is revealed to be fake—in reality, Shinobu holds a deep, intense hatred for demons due to almost all of her loved ones (her sister, her parents, and almost all of her tsuguko) being killed by them, so much so that she is in a near-constant state of anger.
Shinobu is jealous of how bright Rengoku can be at times. She's confident in herself yes but, she just isn't as upgoing as he is.
Usage of the technique however is highly dangerous, as the tremendous strain caused to the eyes ruptured blood vessels and could cause partial or complete blindness. Kanao used the Final Form to defeat Doma, although it rendered her almost blind in her right eye.
However, Doma was born to be a sociopath who showed or felt no emotions, and he only saw his followers as foolish and pitiful worms begging him for mercy. When Doma was a boy, his mother killed his father after finding out he had been cheating on her, before she took her own life.
Does Muzan have a favorite demon? Despite the fact that Muzan. is always shown to have disdain for his creations, Muzan does in fact have a favorite. On that list is Naki, made due to a convenient blood demon.
Inosuke's Father Was Abusive
Doma tells Inosuke that his mother was singing a lot, particularly a lullaby called “pinky promise.” It seemed as if mother and child were safe and happy at last; however, when Kotoha soon found out that Doma was a Demon and eating some of the worshippers, their happiness crashed.
Douma has done multiple horrible things, killing and eating countless innocent people (mainly women), killed and ate some of his own cult members, attempted to wipe out all demon slayers, and when it really comes down to it, he is responsible for some of the most tragic and horrible events in the series, even making ...
The demon continued devouring all the women that joined the cult. One of them was Kotoha Hashibira, Inosuke Hashibira's mother.
Is this because Akaza was formerly the Upper Moon 2 and Doma stole his position by requesting a blood battle with him? Because Akaza has lived longer than Doma.
