On the third capture (yes, I know, unbelievable how much this happens), Jacob talks about how he had to eat Miller, his combat partner, when the two of them ran out of food and water. He doesn't say it overtly, but strongly implies it. He may have also fed you human meat in your cell.
Jacob brainwashes people as well using "classical conditioning" to make a music a trigger to a homicidal fugue. Subjects are often caged or, initially, tied to chairs for conditioning, and sometimes starved for days on end to force them into a bestial, receptive mindset.
Jacob Seed is a 44-year-old veteran of the United States Armed Forces, in which he served as a marksman as a part of the 82nd Airborne Division, the same 82nd Airborne Division Dutch served before him. He is responsible for maintaining the security of his family and training new soldiers for Eden's Gate.
Faith Seed in Far Cry 5
Unlike John or Jacob, she is not a blood sibling of the Father but an “adopted one.” As Joseph tells it, when she arrived in Eden's Gate, he welcomed her and introduced her to a strict moral code without drugs or alcohol (past sins of Faith's, whose real name is Rachel Jessop).
The nuke ending was real, but Joseph Seed himself set off the nukes, and it's not a nuclear war. Joseph's cult are in control of three missile silos, yet you never see any warheads.
It was in fact Vault-Tec's executive of the vaults. He launched the first bomb to fulfill his own prophecy of nuclear annihilation. This has not been established as canon, and seems to contradict the storyline of the platinum chip, which was delivered too late, causing House to eventually slip into a coma.
Within the abandoned script of the canceled Fallout movie, neither China, India, nor even North Korea launched the first bomb. It was in fact the creator of the Vault-Tec Vaults, who launched the first bomb to fulfill his own prophecy of nuclear Armageddon.
Joseph's biological brothers John and Jacob, as well as an adoptive sister he renamed as Faith Seed, act as his lieutenants.
1 Whitetail Mountains: Jacob Seed's Region
Jacob Seed is the oldest of the Seed brothers, and is the toughest and most violent.
Unlike Joseph or the heralds, Faith only makes two physical appearance in the game as the rest or in hallucinations. Additionally, Faith is the only member of the Seed family to not use firearms.
The legend of Johnny Appleseed has largely obscured the reality of the man John Chapman. Born in Leominster, Massachusetts just before the Revolutionary War, John lost his mother while he was still a toddler.
Jacob Seed - An army veteran and the oldest of the siblings. Serves as the cult's recruiter and security head.
Joseph is an antagonist with a unique premise. He sees God's plan and acts according to it. All his Far Cry bad guy schemes are all in line with the will of a higher power, and he is the instrument to fulfill it.
"The Weak Have Their Purpose. You'll Understand That Soon Enough." — Jacob Seed. Jacob Seed makes another appearance on this list. Fittingly enough, this quote also talks about how the weak are inferior to the strong — a schtick that is either still fascinating or completely boring by the time the player hears it.
He has been the protector of the island for millennia and has been referred to as "the man in charge." In some of his appearances, Jacob has shown supernatural powers including immortality, healing, omniscience, and changing peoples' destiny to suit his goals.
The cult in Far Cry 5, known as Eden's Gate, draws inspiration from historic compounds like the Branch Davidians. Joseph Seed, called The Father, believes he is chosen by God to interpret the Seven Seals from Revelation and the end of the world (very similar to David Koresh).
According to Faith, she was 17 when she joined the cult. Again, they've been in Hope County for at least 9 years so, if she didn't lie about her age, Faith probably isn't older than 26.
The only way to save faith if it dies is if you die on its side.
A seed is the embryo of a new plant and as such is a living thing ,but in a dormant state, which requires being buried in soil or other suitable matter to trigger off the renewal process.
7 Seeds was written and illustrated by Yumi Tamura and published by Shogakukan. It began serialization in the November 2001 issue of the monthly shōjo manga magazine Bessatsu Shōjo Comic. In April 2002, it transferred to the monthly josei manga magazine Flowers.
Even though Faith is technically dead, her disembodied voice weakly states "And if you don't listen to him, he'll be right." A stream of Bliss comes from her body and flies into a Bliss flower, which the Deputy picks.
Vault-Tec Started The Great War
According to the leaked film treatment of a canceled Fallout movie from 1998, the first strike was actually made by Vault-Tec, whose executives had agreed to kickstart the Great War in a bid to fulfill their own prophecy.
The series is set during the 21st, 22nd and 23rd centuries, and its atompunk retrofuturistic setting and art work are influenced by the post-war culture of 1950s United States, with its combination of hope for the promises of technology and the lurking fear of nuclear annihilation.
Fallout 4 takes place in the year 2287, ten years after the events of Fallout 3 and 210 years after the Great War, a war between the United States and China over natural resources that ended in a nuclear holocaust in 2077.
