"Rey transferred her own Force energy to the wounded man at her feet; however, the interaction did more than merely mend a gaping wound. Burned flesh and damaged organs were made whole again, and even the scar on his face disappeared. For the first time in more than a decade, Ben Solo's mind cleared."
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker introduced a new version of Force Heal, with Rey mastering a power that allowed her to transfer her life energy to another. Ben Solo, who had since discarded his Kylo Ren identity and opposed Sidious alongside Rey, was a dyad in the Force with the aforementioned Jedi. As such, he was able to use Force healing to restore Rey's life.
You might not have spotted through the tears, but Rey's healing of Ben also saw his facial scar – the result of their first duel on Starkiller Base – disappear so that Ben himself doesn't have any scarring. It's symbolic, you see.
Who is Kylo Ren? Kylo Ren is the moniker taken up by Ben Solo after he is turned toward the Dark Side and joins the cause of the First Order. He takes the name partially from “Ren,” the pseudonym used by the leader of the Knights of Ren, a Dark Side-inclined group of Force-sensitive warriors.
In a new excerpt, it's revealed that the names of Rey's parents are Dathan and Miramir. Dathan is the dad and Miramir the mother, if you were wondering; it's not always clear with these names from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

It seems that with his last ounce of strength, Ben gave what was remaining of his life energy to save Rey. This was his last sacrifice, effectively acting as redemption to return him to the light side of the Force. That is why his body vanished, as Jedi like Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Leia did before him.
