Although in the Sunrise Countdown, the Final Battle Arc, after Muzan injects Tanjiro with all of his blood, it ultimately makes him the new Demon King whose powers became superior to Muzan's.
Muzan's experiment on Nezuko worked out exactly as he'd hoped, but unfortunately for him, he picked the wrong family to mess with, as Tanjiro joining the Demon Slayer Corps is what ultimately led to Muzan's defeat and death.
It is important to note that Tanjiro also received every last drop of Muzan's blood, which was way more than what any other demon from the Upper Moon had. As a result, he became the strongest demon in Demon Slayer.
Mitsuri Kanroji is another Hashira who Tanjiro could definitely beat in Demon Slayer. Mitsuri's main trick up her sleeve is her muscle composition, which makes her muscles eight times denser than that of a normal human's. In other words, she's incredibly strong and powerful, and tough with plenty of endurance as well.
Tanjiro's Current Demon Slayer Rank Is Kanoe
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke have moved from Mizunoto up to Kanoe due to their exploits. Murata, the Demon Slayer, who was almost digested on Mount Nagumo, is also a Kanoe.
4 Muichiro Tokito, The Mist Hashira.
Tanjiro's rank in the manga is unclear, but he is acknowledged as being Hashira level. He kills a recently enhanced Lower Six Moon Demon in his second major mission during the Train Arc and an Upper Six Moon Demon as early as the Entertainment District Arc.
Sanemi Shinazugawa
His body is covered with battle scars, and he seems to have the most bloodlust out of all the Hashira. He is completely intolerant of demons. All of this aggression seems to leave no room for other emotions, or is the result of repression, seen when he quickly moves on from loved one's deaths.
Zenitsu is clearly on the same level as Hashira. If we compare him to Shinobu, his speed is far better, while she lacks quite a lot in raw power. There is a good chance that he could beat Shinobu if the two decide to fight.
Gon is far stronger than Tanjiro, and it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Gon would defeat the demon slayer with ease. Tanjiro may be a master of water and flame breathing, but Gon's nen and raw physical powers truly pack a punch.
So to compare Tanjiro's Demon form in which he's immune to sunlight, and also has the prowess of Sun Breathing, it would give him an upper hand, but still he would lose to Yoriichi.
Those who have read the manga know that Tanjiro's powers grow exponentially towards the end of the series. His skill and overall combat abilities could be compared to that of a Hashira's. That being said, there is absolutely no chance for Tanjiro Kamado to be able to beat Kibutsuji Muzan.
Yes he had help from the other hashiras but muzan was also stronger. Tanjiro even when he had help from iguro, zenitsu and inouske was not able to land such blows on a considerably weakened muzan.
The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Apart from Tanjiro, the show centers on his younger sister Nezuko Kamado, turned into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji. Demons are incapable of walking out in broad daylight because the sunlight will burn them into the ashes.
The demon slayers successfully defeated Muzan.
Demon Slayers are known for their strength and bravery in battle, but not Zenitsu. Despite his cowardice, he's one of the strongest in the series.
The Wind Hashira is one of the strongest Hashiras in the Demon Slayer series. He played a significant role in defeating Kokushibo and was able to inflict damage on Muzan. Sanemi's sheer power and speed will be able to overwhelm Nezuko even in her final form.
But, comparing the two characters in their best forms, Zenitsu might be just a tad bit faster owing to his Godspeed move.
Shinobu Kocho (The Insect Hashira) While we don't necessarily think Shinobu Kocho is physically weak by any means, we do believe that she is currently positioned at the bottom of the totem pole compared to her fellow Hashira members.
Killed And Was Killed By Doma
Before arriving at the Infinity Castle, the Insect Hashira consumed roughly 81 pounds of wisteria poison. Even though Doma killed her, he died just as quickly because of the sheer amount of poison he ingested after eating her.
In the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira is a group of the strongest and most reputable swordsmen who have defeated members of the Twelve Kizuki. Yet, for some reason, Tanjiro Kamado, the series' protagonist, never becomes a Hashira.
The Hashira Training Program, as the name suggests, is a program for Demon Slayers to participate in. Tanjiro manages to finish every course he participates in, save one. And that is the Wind Hashira course, who have banned him for attacking one of their own - Genya.
In terms of achievements, Tanjiro outsmarted Water Hashira with just his natural instincts and defeated a bunch of demons even before becoming a member of the Demon Slayer Corps.
