Climactic Moment: Thor realizes the only way to defeat Hela is to cause Ragnarok and destroy Asgard, her source of power. While he holds her off, he sends Loki to resurrect Surtur—who plunges his sword into the heart of Asgard, destroying Hela.
Surtur dealt the final blow against Hela with his own fiery sword and brought the prophesized Ragnarok to Asgard itself, as Thor and the other remaining Asgardians escaped on their ship.
While most of the Asgardian forces battled Hela's soldiers, the mutants ventured to Odin's very bedchambers, saved Odin's life and foiled Hela's plans. Hela was defeated when the uru sword was destroyed.
The Hela in the MCU was vastly more powerful (and very different) than her comics counterpart. In the comics, she was ruler in Hel, an embodiment of death. As such, she really couldn't die (nor was she strong enough to directly defeat Thor in battle.)
7 Her Glaring Weakness
For Hela, it's her cloak. Without it, she can be reduced to her true form, that of a half-dead woman. One portion of her body remains alive and well, but the only half is no more than a rotting corpse, unable to move or do anything.
Stormbreaker can summon the bifrost and Hela is stronger in Asgard. Thor can teleport her and himself and open her chest killing her, or cut off her limbs ir head. Plus, Stormbreaker is stronger than Mjolnir.
Odin was lot stronger than Hela. Would Thanos be able to take the tesseract from asgard if Odin was still alive? It depends on the beings that mcu will bring in, their are stronger beings celestials, death, living tribunal, Galactus, maybe zom.
Supposedly, Thanos is even stronger than Hela.
Of course, the Goddess of Death could bring the dead to life. This is Hela's most significant power – she could summon any creature from the depths of hell.
Hela would win in a fight against Thanos. She is an incredibly powerful and skilled fighter. As the Goddess of Death, she has immense strength, durability, and regenerative abilities. She is also a master of weapons, particularly her lethal blades.
During this, Odin will ride to fight Fenrisúlfr. During the battle, Fenrisúlfr will eventually swallow Odin, killing him, and Odin's son Víðarr will move forward and kick one foot into the lower jaw of the wolf. This foot will bear a legendary shoe "for which the material has been collected throughout all time".
Despite this, Loki later resurrected him with the Eternal Flame and used him to defeat Hela. Surtur then fulfilled the prophecy of Ragnarök by destroying Asgard along with Hela and himself in the process, unaware that the realm had already been evacuated.
The destruction of Thor's hammer Mjolnir is one of the most striking moments in the MCU to date. Thor, who is used to considering his weapon invincible, throws it at Hela without a second thought. To his horror, Hela actually catches Mjolnir in her outstretched arm, and shatters it with ease.
Hela, the Asgardian Goddess of Death, rules two of the nine realms: Hel, land of the dead, and Niffleheim, land of eternal ice. With a simple touch, she can cause gods to perish, but Hela's purpose is to receive Asgardian souls, as well as their followers.
Hela Understood Mjolnir's Power
But recognizing the danger of his daughter's bloodlust, Odin banished Hela and later placed the enchantment on the hammer. That opens the possibility that Hela retained some hold over her former weapon, enabling her to shatter it.
Vidar. Yet another one of Odin's sons turns out to be an extremely powerful god. It is believed that Vidar was the strongest among all men or gods, except for Thor. He proved his power during Ragnarok when he killed Loki's giant wolf-son, Fenrir.
Odin says: Her violent appetites grew beyond my control. I couldn't stop her, so I imprisoned her. Locked her away.
MCU Hela would have little trouble with any of the other Avengers. She's shown a mastery of fighting and combat second to none, she's so ridiculously powerful that right upon emerging from her banishment and before she grew stronger, she destroyed Mjolnir.
In a Zeus vs Thor scenario, Zeus would probably end up the victor, but the same goes for his son, Hercules. Technically speaking, he's only a demigod, but, if any biceps could outsize Thor's, then it is the Herculators.
All things considered, Zeus is certainly on Odin's level, so as long as Marvel portrays him accurately, he should be one of the MCU's most powerful characters.
Hulk Cant compete with Hela. Genuinely, as a Hulk fan, He really became the Galactus of The MCU.
Mjolnir was forged for Thor Odinson's grandfather by the dwarves, who used the core of a star and Uru metal to form the iconic hammer and imbue it with its immense strength and magic. It is nearly invulnerable and is capable of great destruction.
Thor Odinson initially suspects Jane might be this new hero. But he eliminates her from his list of suspects because she is going through chemotherapy for breast cancer, which, he reasons, would make her too weak to fight.
It is safe to say that Stormbreaker cannot be destroyed by anything audiences have seen in the MCU so far. A power that Stormbreaker lacks is the "worthiness" enchantment of Odin. Anyone physically strong enough to lift and use Stormbreaker can use it.
