Thor and Hercules have gone to battle many times in the comics. In fact, the son of Zeus first debuted as a rival of the God of Thunder all the way back in 1965. Their rivalry may be long-standing, but it's usually portrayed as fun, friendly, and competitive.
Journey into Mystery Annual #1 (1965) “When Titans Clash”
In Hercules' first Marvel Comics appearance, he came across the Thunder God when Thor accidentally stumbled upon Mount OlympusOpens in new tab by way of a mystical tunnel. (As one does). The two had their first fight over the dumbest of reasons.
Hercules' strength is rarely matched. There were times when he even overpowered the Incredible Hulk – a feat that not even Thor could complete. So, when it comes to physical strength, Hercules is the strongest.
Hercules' first meeting with Thor took place within JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY ANNUAL (1965) #1 and it wasn't a friendly encounter at the start. Thor was looking for a path to Olympus, and he found Hercules guarding a bridge and eager for a fight.
Ares turned all the Olympian gods to crystal, and, as Hercules was unaffected by being only half-god, Ares' agents beat him severely and abandoned him on Earth.
Zeus. It should come as no surprise that, in a one-on-one battle of Zeus vs Thor, Zeus would easily triumph.
Thor wanted Zeus and the other gods to help him fight Gorr the Godbutcher (Christian Bale), who—as you can perhaps guess from his name—poses a threat to all the gods. Zeus is uninterested in helping. Thor then kills Zeus using Zeus' own thunderbolt, which (frankly) feels like a bit of an overreaction.
He could. . . but he would need that magical condition Batman thrives on.

Hercules has superhuman strength (Class 100), greater than most other Olympian gods. His superhuman leg strength enables him to perform a standing high jump of at least 100 feet. Hercules is highly durable, resisting most forms of impact, penetration and energy assault.
Odin has pretty clearly been shown to be demonstrable more powerful than the other gods. Odin's Odinforce has far outstripped anything Zeus's magical lightning bolts have ever done.
HERCULES. In the 2008 one-shot Hulk vs. Hercules: When Titans Collide, the two heroes fight it out, but it ultimately proves to be a one-sided fight. The Hulk is clearly more powerful than his godlike opponent, but the problem is that he can't really land a solid blow on him.
2 Hatred For Thor
One such being was Zeus, who tried to kill Korg and then Thor. After being struck with his own Thunderbolt, Zeus swears vengeance on the Asgardians. Thor sends his son, Hercules, to hunt down and kill Thor.
This leads to Thor acting far more childishly than you'd ever expected from the God of Thunder -- kicking Hercules in the crotch and giving him a mighty wedgie. "Thor" can announce his defeat at the hands of "Hercules", leading an embarrassed Thor to loudly proclaim that Hercules defeated Thor in combat.
The Greek myths paint Hercules as far stronger and more skilled in battle than any mortal, and that's certainly true for the Marvel version. Thanks to his divine origins, Herc has incredible physical strength - enough to make him a match for Thor and even hold his own in battle against the Hulk.

Hercules' weakness was his temper and lack of intelligence. He was notorious for getting himself into trouble because of his temper.
Hela Was Worthy Enough to Destroy Mjolnir
Many people other than Thor have wielded Mjolnir, including his sister Hela. But the impactful scene in Thor: Ragnarok depicts Hela catching Mjolnir in mid-air before then crushing it to pieces. Odin previously told Thor the power of the Uru metal had no equal.
