After an intense battle and the support from Uzui's wives, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu, the demons are defeated. However, Uzui loses one of his arms and an eye in the fight, leaving Tengen Uzui with no choice but to retire from the Demon Slayer Corps.
Despite being poisoned in the beginning by Gyutaro, he boldly proclaimed he could fight just fine, even attacking both Daki and Gyutaro at the same time, deflecting multiple poison blood blades with a missing hand. Even when his left eye gets slashed out, he pushed through all the damage until the demons were defeated.
In fighting Gyuutarou and Daki, Uzui Tengen loses his left eye and left hand, and Gyuutarou heavily poisons him to keep him from decapitating the demons. After Tanjirou defeats the demon siblings, the poison spreads so rapidly in Uzui's body that he lays dying, surrounded by Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru.
Even after losing his left hand to Gyutaro, Tengen was able to fight the Upper Rank on even terms due to completing the Musical Score, allowing him to deflect Gyutaro's attacks, cut off his arm and pin him down at the cost of losing his left eye.
With the loss of his left hand and left eye, Tengen Uzui decides to retire after his battle with Daki and Gyutaro. He is the second Hashira to retire due to being disabled.
Gyutaro manages to poison Tengen during the fight, preventing him from decapitating the Demon. After they finally manage to bring down the Demon siblings, Tengen ends up losing his left hand and eye in the process.
Sound Hashira
He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest. Obviously, then, Tengen Uzui is rather proud. He is demanding, fussy, boastful, and prone to selfishness. But he is also ultimately kind and caring, with great love for his three wives as well as the other Hashira.
When it comes to pure strength, Shinobu Kocho is the weakest Hashira in Demon Slayer. She doesn't even have enough strength to decapitate a demon's head and she makes up for it by injecting poison into the demons.
yes, he did! so did sanemi and giyuu. if you remember from the last chapter (205), you can see one of his descendants, as well as giyuu's and sanemi's. but, seeing that tenma has seven other siblings, i'm pretty sure tengen had at least one baby with each of his wives.
5/10 Did Not: Tengen Uzui Retired Before Getting His Mark
The Hashira began obtaining their marks after the Upper Moons appeared in the Swordsmith village, an event that occurs immediately after the Entertainment District Arc that Tengen battles in. After his fight against Daki and Gyutaro, Tengen had to retire.
Well, you'd be delighted to know that Tengen Uzui doesn't die fighting against Gyutaro and Daki. However, the Sound Hashira does die in the manga, but that happens far in the future. In the manga, the fight between Uzui and the sibling demons gets ruthless, and Tengen gets badly injured from Gyutaro's poisoned sickles.
i know, though, some believe he loves hina (21) the most, because he had the most interaction with her in the manga and they have the most “husband-and-wife” feel. we also have to remember that suma (19) was tengen's first chosen wife—they both personally agreed to letting hina and makio (20) into their relationship.
Gyomei is blind, thus explaining the reason for the lack of pupils in his eyes. He was blinded due to a fever he had when he was a child.

Tengen also wears a white head wrap covering his hair as well as a large grey headband adorned with 3 large and 3 small gemstones.
The reason he is blind is that a curse is slowly taking away his life. The Ubuyashiki family is inflicted with this curse as they are the ones who birthed the very first demon.
Suma, the youngest of Tengen's wives, is 19 years old. Hinatsuru, the oldest wife, is 21 years old, while Makio is 20 years old.
Makio is actually a distant cousin of Tengen's. Makio's name contains solely the hiragana for "ma" (ま, "ma"?), "ki" (き, "ki"?) and "wo" (を, "wo"?) respectively.
Mitsuri. The love Hashira and upcoming featured character of season 3, Mitsuri is best known for her extreme affection for everyone in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Demon Slayer's Tengen Uzui is considered to be one of the weakest Hashira due to almost losing this fight, but the fact is that Tengen only looks weak when compared to the most overpowered Hashira.
2) Sanemi Shinazugawa
His fast movement, combined with his excellent swordsmanship, makes him a remarkable demon slayer. Most of his attacks are purely offensive due to his breathing style. Being a user of wind breathing, he is undoubtedly fast.
Rengoku's fight in the Mugen Train arc showed his incredible speed and reflexes. He was able to match Akaza's speed, and his movements were so fast that it was almost impossible for the naked eye to keep up. Tengen, meanwhile, is the fastest runner out of all the Hashira.
Giyu was the first Hashira to be introduced in the series, making his debut in the very first episode. After rescuing Tanjiro from the newly transformed demon Nezuko, Giyu prepares to execute her as he would any other demon.
