Jamie and Brianna first meet in Outlander (Season 4, Episode 9, "The Birds & The Bees") when they encounter each other on the streets of North Carolina in 1769, but the factors surrounding how they get to this point slightly differ from how it occurs in Diana Gabaldon's fourth Outlander book, Drums of Autumn.
Brianna did not know the story of her true parentage until after the man she had thought was her father, Frank Randall, had died and her mother took her to Scotland, where she told Brianna and Roger MacKenzie about her journey through time and her life with Jamie.
“Dragonfly in Amber” Season 2, Episode 13 – Part 1
Jamie and Claire learn she's pregnant again. With Brianna.
Claire had a second chance with Brianna on Outlander Season 4, Episode 9. And this was an important moment for Claire, too. She went to the past to Jamie believing that she would never see her daughter again. This wasn't like moving overseas where she could write to Bree.
During the season 4 episode of the Starz drama dubbed “The Deep Heart's Core,” an extremely angry Brianna (Sophie Skelton) whacked her father Jamie (Sam Heughan) across the face after learning he mistakenly beat up Roger (Richard Rankin) instead of the man who actually raped her (Stephen Bonnet, played by Ed Speleers).
It's all pretty bizarre, but Brianna sensibly plays along to save herself, and even convinces Bonnet to let her go home and get Jemmy. Well, at least until Bonnet wants to seal their agreement with a kiss, at which point he realizes Brianna has no real feelings for him.
We already know that Bree has forgiven Jamie. Skelton told Parade that forgiving Jamie was easy. For her, the hardest thing to forgive was that right to revenge.
Jamie marries Claire to keep her from falling into the hands of the evil Captain "Black Jack" Randall. They have one child, Faith, who doesn't survive birth; an adopted son named Fergus; and a daughter, Brianna.
The simple answer is no. Claire and Jamie don't have any more children after Brianna. Claire heads through the stones while pregnant with Brianna at the end of the second season/book.
Because yes, Claire and Lord John end up married in book seven, and yes, they drunkenly (and full of grief for the loss of Jamie, whom they both love with all of their heart) consummate that marriage. And then Jamie shows up alive and well!
Just as she begins to worry that Jamie might be capable of lying to her, Jamie quells her fear by revealing to her his indiscretion with Mary MacNab, a woman who worked at Lallybroch, while Claire was back in 1968 with Frank and Brianna. This confession soothes Claire, and the two find themselves realigned once again.
If we're looking for the straight answer, it's two. Claire and Jamie only have two biological children together: Faith and Brianna. Faith was the stillborn baby in France.
In Something's Got to Give it is revealed that Eli is the father of Clare's baby and not Drew as previously thought.
William loses both his mother Geneva, who dies during childbirth, and his supposed father the Earl (killed by Jamie), shortly after his birth, from there he ends up in the care of Jamie's friend and close confidant Lord John Gray - who had married Geneva's sister Isobel.
Unbeknownst to Bonnet, Brianna then makes a deal with the whore to get word to her family that Bonnet is taking her to Ocracoke. Later, Bonnet insists Brianna sleep next to him in bed at night. She comforts him during his nightmares, which reveal his deep fear of death by drowning.
During this time, Jamie was left close to death and bereft without his wife. However, after some convincing from his sister Jenny Murray (Laura Donnelly), Jamie married Laoghaire.
When Claire returns to the past, she and Jamie reconnect and begin to live as man and wife once again. But some might be wondering what the legal implications of Jamie's marriage to Laoghaire might mean. Given he remarried after Claire, it seems possible their marriage might be void after all.
The Fiery Cross
Claire and Jamie care for her and give her goat's milk, keeping her warm as they bring her into Brownsville. Once in Brownsville, they find a nursing mother to feed the child, and Richard Brown makes the executive decision to take her in and raise her as his.
Claire Fraser was born on October 20, 1918.
That would make her 27-and-a-half at the time she and Jamie meet in the books, while Jamie's barely 22. This would make Claire five and a half years older than Jamie. This content is imported from twitter.
So, yes, Jamie does have another child in addition to those he had with Claire: William Ransom. The boy's mother is the late Geneva Dunsany of Helwater, the house where Jamie serves his parole after his stint in Ardsmuir Prison.
Not long after they arrive, Dougal gets word that his wife Maura has passed away of a fever at their estate of Beannachd. Dougal has an affair with Geillis Duncan which results in a pregnancy.
Brianna refuses his advances, and he rapes her as his men sit by and do nothing. He returns the ring afterward to a badly hurt and traumatized Brianna. From this moment on to the end of the series, we see the lasting effects of Bonnet's attack on Brianna, as she never fully recovers emotionally.
