Jon Snow and Daenerys
Game of Thrones' season seven finale proved to be the episode that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen fans had waited for all season long. That scene saw the two leaders finally hook up on their way back from a critical meeting in the kingdom's capitol.
In a twist many fans saw coming (and dreaded), Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen acted on their flirtations and slept together in the Season 7 finale. The writers and directors intercut their sex scene with flashes to Bran and Sam, as they pieced together undeniable proof that they are related.
There was a strain in their relationship once Jon and Daenerys found out about Jon's biological parents, or more specifically, his superior claim. On the show, Jon seems to be uncomfortable because he realized that Daenerys was his aunt, although this would not really bother Jon that much.
After both characters suffered ill-fated past relationships, Jon and Daenerys were delighted to finally find happiness together. The audience, on the other hand, watched awkwardly, heads in hands, knowing that Jon's secret parentage made him Dany's nephew.
until she realizes, with terror, that she has fallen in love with Jon, who is not only her half-brother but a man of the Night's Watch, sworn to celibacy. Their passion will continue to torment Jon and Arya throughout the trilogy, until the secret of Jon's true parentage is finally revealed in the last book.
Jon regretted his decision to kill her deeply, questioning whether it was right, but ultimately acted for the good of the realm, egged on by Tyrion and Arya. So he approached her, called her queen, kissed her, and plunged a knife in her heart.
After the Season 7 finale, dedicated Game of Thrones scholars pointed to the original letter that George R.R. Martin sent to his publisher in 1993 as evidence that Tyrion does, in fact, love Dany.
He's wondering how smart of a move [Jon and Dany getting romantically involved is], because passion and politics don't mix well. He knows the two of them getting together could be very dangerous. This falls in line with some of the simpler theories out there.
Unfortunately, this did not happen, and fans created alternative endings. This was until the studio released a production documentary on YouTube. It showed some deleted scenes from the show's finale, and one such shot was that of Daenerys Targaryen with a baby bump.
In short, to keep the blood of the dragon as pure as possible. Books such as “The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones” and “Fire & Blood” detail how the Targaryen tradition of incestuous marriages can be traced back to their time in Old Valyria.
In both the TV show and the books, Daenerys is shown to be sexually interested in men. Aside from her partly-tactical marriages to Khal Drogo and Hizdahr zo Loraq, she is also shown falling in love with sellsword Daario Naharis. However, viewers of the TV series may not be aware that in the books, Dany is bisexual.

The series finale of “Game of Thrones” delivered a death that a lot of people never saw coming: Daenerys Targaryen was murdered by Jon Snow. As if it's not cold enough to be killed by your lover-slash-nephew, Jon took out Dany WHILE THEY WERE KISSING. Truly a savage move, my dude.
There's not a shadow of doubt in my mind that Dany loved Jon more. Dany was a child when she was forced to marry Drogo, a warlord quite a bit older than her. She was thirteen in the books and sixteen in the show when Drogo rapes her repeatedly.
It's murky, but the answer is most likely no. Let's look at the facts: Sansa and Tyrion's marriage was famously never consummated. "I won't share your bed," Tyrion tells her on their wedding night.
But these two are not, and will likely never be, in love. They're just two smart people who were once forced into marriage, and are now sort of friends because of it (which still makes the duo completely stannable in a platonic way). Sansa is a character who's learned not to trust most people.
Shae clearly has some kind of feelings for Tyrion. She loves him (or gets as close to loving him as is possible in a show like Game of Thrones), and her ending up with Tywin is an act of spite and jealousy. It's not callous or cold; it's done with deliberate intent.
But the dragon presumably sensed that Jon is a Targaryen, and harming a member of that family would've gone against his instincts. Don't forget, Jon was previously able to ride Dany's dragon Rhaegal. Surely Rhaegal allowed him to do this because of Jon's Targaryen blood too. Drogon mourns.
It gives us a decent idea of what Drogon did with Dany's body after he melted the Iron Throne and flew away from King's Landing. As theorised by Samwell Tarly in the finale, the dragon flew her to Volantis, where she'd grown up in exile after the death of her father, and cremated her body in line with family tradition.
But upon feeling the uncorrupted touch of the criminal's hand, Drogon's anger fades into serenity. Drogon Peaceful? At least for the moment, he forgives Jon for not bending the knee. And if he is a thinking creature, he must have questioned whether or not he had executed men unjustly; Drogon would never be the same.
Now, George R.R. Martin's The Winds of Winter — the sixth book in the series A Song of Ice and Fire — might (and should) answer the question of whether Daenerys can have children. In a vision, Dany sees Khal Drogo and their son. In Season 1, Daenerys married Khal Drogo and became pregnant with their son, Rhaego.
What has Daenerys said about her inability to have children? Dany saw Mirri's prophecy as a curse, and believes she will never be able to give birth to human babies. Instead, she considers her dragons to be her children. When warlocks of Qarth steal her dragons, Jorah tries to convince her to leave them behind.
Upon entering, Daenerys finds herself back in her former home while on the Dothraki Sea in Drogo's tent. Before her are her dead husband and child, both alive again. Rhaego is seen as a small adorable boy in the arms of Drogo.
