Petra eventually becomes so angry and fed up that she artificially inseminates herself with Rafael's sperm in a desperate attempt to win him back. She does so by hanging upside down and using a turkey baster.
During the series finale, Petra was emotional over Jane and Rafael's happy ending and feared that she'd never find love again. However, at the wedding, JR returns and reunites with Petra and the duo get back together. Petra went from a villain on Jane the Virgin to a beloved character and I loved every second of it.

In a panic Luisa calls her ex-girlfriend Rose, a former lawyer, to try to help cover her tracks, revealing that she “inseminated” Petra with saline so as not to make her suspicious. Petra surprises Rafael and tells him about the insemination, although he does not view it as being as “romantic” as she had imagined.
Rafael tells Jane about Petra cheating on him with his former best friend. Jane tells Rafael that she can't walk away from the baby.
Then in "Chapter Eighty-One" (Season 4, Episode 17), evil villain Rose, aka Sin Rostro (Bridget Regan), tells Rafael that she knows who his biological parents are. His attitude shifts throughout the episode because he learns something mysterious that he keeps from Jane, as well as the viewers.
During her pregnancy, she falls in love with Rogelio's co-star/rival, Esteban Santiago, and he becomes like a second father to Baby. In the fifth and final season, when This is Mars moves to New York, Rogelio convinces Darci and Esteban to move with Baby, so that Rogelio can be with Baby.
Jane Gloriana Villanueva got her happy ending. In the series finale of Jane the Virgin, not only did Jane get married to Rafael, but she revealed that her book's ending plays into the very show that fans have been watching for five seasons. (As does her son Mateo.)
Jane ends up having a baby boy named Mateo Gloriano Rogelio Solano Villanueva. She marries Michael Cordero in the season two finale. In the tenth episode of season three, she becomes widowed when Michael dies from complications associated with his previous gunshot wound.
However, Petra receives Rafael's message that he's in love with her and decides to get back with him instead. Chuck tries to win Petra back, saying she'll always be his first choice as oppose to Rafael but despite his words getting to her, in the end she chooses Rafael.

Xiomara (Andrea Navedo), Jane's mother and Alba's daughter, has overcome her fear of stepping outside her comfort zone; in three days, she will move to New York with her husband, telenovela actor Rogelio de la Vega (Jaime Camil), so she can attend nursing school and he can star in an American television show.
Although she loves Rogelio and wants to marry him, Xo hesitates to say yes as she does not want more children – and Rogelio does. The two try to compromise and find a way to stay together but, in the end, Xiomara turns down Rogelio's proposal and they break up.
As of Chapter Sixty-Four, she and Rogelio are happily married even after she found out that he has Darci 7 months pregnant.
Halfway through his cancer treatment Rafael realized what kind of life he was living and wanted to divorce Petra. His decision is cemented when he discovers that Petra cheated on him.
After Emilio's murder, Luisa and Rafael inherit the last two 1/3 of the hotel each. However, Luisa who believes money is the route of all their problems temporarily hands over the control of her shares to Petra, leaving her with majority control over the hotel.
After Jane learns that she is still married to Michael, she decides to get divorced from him so she can move on with Rafael. Luisa visits Rose in jail learning the reason she faked Michael's death and gave him amnesia.
until the worst thing ever happened and Michael died from complications from his injury. I know. It was a heartbreaker. We pick our story up three years later and Jane's life is certainly not what she planned.
