To dream of your own reflection in the mirror suggests that you are pondering thoughts about your inner self. The reflection in the mirror is how you perceive yourself or how you want others to see you. You may be contemplating on strengthening and changing aspects of your character.
Lucid dreaming, like most dreams, usually happens during REM sleep. In a lucid dream, you know that you're dreaming. You're aware of your awareness during the dream state.
Our mind is not inventing faces – in our dreams, we see real faces of real people that we have seen during our life but may not know or remember. We have all seen hundreds of thousands of faces throughout our lives, so we have an endless supply of characters for our brain to utilize during our dreams.
If you can't see yourself in the mirror, it suggests that you might be struggling with your sense of identity. You might be going through a big change or in a situation that involves you conforming to the beliefs of others.
Creating Sleeplessness
According to experts, having a mirror opposite your bed is one of the most common causes of insomnia. What is this? If you catch yourself or other movements in the reflection it can be difficult for the brain to switch off and go to sleep.
Caputo of the University of Urbino, participants were asked to stare into a mirror in dim lighting for ten minutes. Results demonstrated that 66% of participants experienced huge deformations of their own face, 28% saw an unknown person, and 48% saw fantastical and monstrous beings.
Some blind people see full visual scenes while they dream, like sighted people do. Others see some visual images but not robust scenes. Others yet do not have a visual component to their dreams at all, although some researchers debate the degree to which this is true.
It may seem that way, but it is impossible. It is believed that the human brain is incapable of “creating” a new face. Every person you dream of has been someone you have either known personally or merely came across looking through your friend's Facebook photos.
These observations support the emerging view that dreams are generated by networks in the brain similar to the networks that are involved in recalling memories and constructing imagined scenarios during wakefulness (Fox et al., 2013; Graveline and Wamsley, 2015).
The dream within a dream requires some other explanation than its mere re-description as a partial waking. Perhaps the dream within a dream is more like lucid dreaming, which results from a hybrid of REM and waking states because the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex is partially activated.
While recurring dreams and disorienting dream loops are common during lucid dreams, it is not possible to get actually get stuck.
Passing feelings of depersonalization or derealization are common and aren't necessarily a cause for concern. But ongoing or severe feelings of detachment and distortion of your surroundings can be a sign of depersonalization-derealization disorder or another physical or mental health disorder.
Dreams are drifts of the imagination, as if one imaginary clouds in the sky. Visions are scripted efforts to effect change. They occur personally and organizationally.
A Complete Reflection
Hold two hand mirrors in front of you with their edges touching and a right angle between them like the two covers of a book when you're reading. With a little adjustment you can get a complete reflection of your face as others see it. Wink with your right eye.
Dreaming in the third person implies the dreamer is viewing only what others are doing or it seems the dreamer is being personally talked about, but is not part of any conversation. This may suggest that you feel very isolated from the social processes around you.
Although some theorists have suggested that pain sensations cannot be part of the dreaming world, research has shown that pain sensations occur in about 1% of the dreams in healthy persons and in about 30% of patients with acute, severe pain.

According to Forbes business, only eight percent of the world's population manage to turn their dreams into reality. These statistics are repeatedly quoted on many sites such as inc.com, lifehack.org and many others.
Whether they dream or not probably depends on the cause of the coma. If the visual cortex is badly damaged, visual dreams will be lost; if the auditory cortex is destroyed, then they will be unable to hear dreamed voices.
Deaf / hard of hearing people and their dreams
In a study titled Waking and Sleeping, researchers investigated people's dreams with hearing loss. After their research, they concluded that people with hearing impairments hear sounds in their dreams.
Seeing the different sources of light, called light perception, is another form of blindness, alongside tunnel vision and many more. Though, one point to consider is the fact that individuals who were born blind cannot tell whether they see total black or not because, simply, they can't really tell.
In normal observers, gazing at one's own face in the mirror for a few minutes, at a low illumination level, produces the apparition of strange faces. Observers see distortions of their own faces, but they often see hallucinations like monsters, archetypical faces, faces of relatives and deceased, and animals.
When people stare gaze into each other's eyes they feel more connected. Oxytocin has been linked to a decrease in bullying, an increase in empathy and love, and increases in empathy. This can be especially important if you're looking to cultivate financial empathy in your relationships.
Eye gazing also creates an opportunity for emotional connection. In a 2013 study of fifteen people, researchers found that direct gazing increased activity in the amygdala. This is the part of your brain involved in processing facial cues and people's emotions.
