There is no such number as a 'bajillion,' so it is not a real number. People say 'bajillion' to take the place of a real number when they are emphasizing how large something is. For example, someone might say that it took them all day to rake leaves because there were a 'bajillion' leaves in the yard.
None of the words jillion, zillion, squillion, gazillion, kazillion, bajillion, or bazillion (or Brazilian) are real numbers. In the last two cases above, you'll notice that instead of an equals symbol we've used a squiggly equals symbol.
A Bazillion can then have at least a zillion zeroes, and a Gazillion at least a bazillion zeroes. Or perhaps it's best to simply think of a zillion as a generic member of the -illion series, preferably a largish one.
'Zillion' is not a real number. It's not actually the name of a number at all. People may say they have a 'zillion' things, but they are using this as a made-up adjective that means 'a huge amount. ' In mathematics, there is no number called a 'zillion.
Zillion has an indeterminate number of zeroes.
Despite the popular misconception, a zillion actually is not a true number. Rather, a zillion is defined as an indeterminately large number.
noun, plural cen·til·lions, (as after a numeral) cen·til·lion. a cardinal number represented in the U.S. by 1 followed by 303 zeros, and in Great Britain by 1 followed by 600 zeros.
Zillion sounds like an actual number because of its similarity to billion, million, and trillion, and it is modeled on these real numerical values. However, like its cousin jillion, zillion is an informal way to talk about a number that's enormous but indefinite.
Now, after a trillion, there comes a number known as quadrillion, and then we have other numbers following it. These numbers are quintillion, sextillion, septillion, octillion, nonillion, and decillion.
: a huge, unspecified number : zillion. According to William Miller, Jr., VMD, a professor of dermatology at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine, there are "gazillions" of different types of fungi existing in nature, including molds, yeasts, mildews and so forth.
googolplex. = 1x10. 10100. There are no names given to the numbers between googol, skewer's number, centillion, and googolplex. And, there is apparently no Global agreement on naming large numbers.
This pattern continues until you get to Ten-duotrigintillion, more commonly known as a Googol (yes, this is where search engine Google got their name from). There are no names for the numbers between Googol, Skewer's Number, Centillion, or Googolplex. You may have noticed that "zillion" is not on here.
/ (ˈskwɪljən) informal / nounplural -lions or -lion. (often plural) an extremely large but unspecified number, quantity, or amount.
A unit of quantity equal to 1099 (1 followed by 99 zeros).
nonillion. / (nəʊˈnɪljən) / noun. (in Britain, France, and Germany) the number represented as one followed by 54 zeros (10 54) (in the US and Canada) the number represented as one followed by 30 zeros (10 30): Brit word: quintillion.
A unit of quantity equal to 10243 (1 followed by 243 zeros).
A unit of quantity equal to 1087 (1 followed by 87 zeros).
The number 6174 is known as Kaprekar's constant after the Indian mathematician D. R. Kaprekar.
A googol is 10 to the 100th power, which is 1 followed by 100 zeros. While this is an unimaginably large number, there's still an infinite quantity of larger numbers.
In the American system each of the denominations above 1,000 millions (the American billion) is 1,000 times the preceding one (one trillion = 1,000 billions; one quadrillion = 1,000 trillions).
A millillion (alternately millinillion, milliatillion or milletillion) is equal to 103,003 in the short scale, or 106,000 in the long scale (this number is also called Platillion). It is made by combining "mille" (1,000) with the standard -illion suffix, which is itself derived from "mille".
A quintillion is the number name for 10 raised to the power of 18, that is, one followed by 18 zeros. In the International numeral system, a quintillion has 6 groups of zeros in 3, that is, 1,000,000,000,000,000,000. The prefix “exa” is used for quantities of a quintillion.
One million (1,000,000), or one thousand thousand, is the natural number following 999,999 and preceding 1,000,001.
One trillion is equivalent to 1000000 million or in words, we can say that one million million, that is, 1, 000, 000, 000, 000. Therefore, one trillion has 12 zeros.
