Ichigo's confused cry shatters the illusion, as they realize they stabbed Hinamori and not Aizen. Aizen then butchers each of them. The weight of Hitsugaya's inability to protect Hinamori for the second time, coupled with the fact that he dealt the finishing blow, made for one of the saddest moments in the anime.
That was soooo emotional and heavy. If you have been on this Bleach journey since the beginning, everything leads up to this episode, 342: Ichigo finally losing all of his Shinigami powers. *weeps*. I choked, I got teary-eyed.
Violence & Gore (33) Bloody scenes involving knives, as well as fistfights between family members. The show's suburban setting means that the violence is less over the top then some other anime series, but there's still a fair amount of it.
12+. It's a good show that I watched when I was younger, and my children watched it too. There is a little bit of swearing and some violence, but not overly exaggerated like TV shows nowadays are, and it's not too bad, I was ok letting my 12 year-old daughter and 13 year-old son watch it and it was fine.

1 Total Monster: Sosuke Aizen
Every molecule of Sosuke Aizen's body is completely evil! You wouldn't guess it at first, which is part of his insidious plot. Aizen had the veneer of being a kind and compassionate Captain, and thus he was very popular.
Quincy: A sub-classification of a human. His father is a "Shinketsu" (真血, Pure Blood, Viz "True Blood") (member of a noble clan, born in Soul Society) soul with captain-class Shinigami status, and his mother was a pure-blood Quincy. This makes Ichigo rare, for he is a mixed-blood Quincy with Shinigami powers.
When Ichigo gets overwhelmed, Orihime saves him. Ten years after the war, Orihime marries Ichigo and has a son, Kazui.
History. Eight years after Hiro and Zero Two sacrificed themselves and save the planet from VIRM, Ichigo and Goro got married and she became pregnant with their first child. During the school entrance ceremony, Ichigo is seen heavily pregnant and visits Ikuno for prenatal care.
Ichigo and Rukia's platonic relationship is seen as a cop-out by fans who, for some reason, have decided that the S.S. "IchiRuki" is the series' real ship over the canonical outcome which sees Ichigo eventually marry and even have a child with Orihime after the events of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.
After all, Bleach ended with Ichigo married to Inoue Orihime while Rukia married Renji Abarai. The couples divided fans, but that was only the beginning. Soon enough, the story revealed that both Ichigo and Rukia had kids of their own.
