After Mike Wheeler comes to visit El, Angela humiliates her in front of him and a whole roller rink, causing Eleven to snap and assault her with a roller skate. The last time Angela is seen, she is mopping up her bloody nose, while Eleven is put back in the care of Doctor Sam Owens and Martin Brenner.
Q'orianka Kilcher will be reprising her role of the cutthroat attorney in Season 5 of the Paramount Network smash, our sister site Deadline reports. Last seen in Season 3, Angela was recruited by Rainwater to help put up roadblocks to Market Equities' plans to develop the hell out of Montana.
The next morning, two police officers arrived at the Byers home to arrest Eleven for assaulting Angela, who was revealed to have suffered a grade 2 concussion from the incident. Due to her foster mother being out of town, Eleven could not be bailed out and was sentenced to be taken to a juvenile detention center.

Breakup. After being pushed away by Mike, Eleven breaks up with him and spends some much-needed girl time with her new BFF Max. They later reconcile after Mike reveals that he only avoided Eleven because Hopper had threatened him and tells El he loves her which she reciprocates.
"This is the most emotional season for Eleven. She's powerless and trying to fit in at a new school and she's trying to understand who she is and where she came from. She's struggling with her identity and this is the darkest state she's ever been in. She's sad and I had to cry a lot.

Though the Netflix Original has its dark moments, it's still a show about friendships, family, and love. At its core, it's wholesome. Because of this, I don't see the Duffer Brothers completely changing course and revealing that Eleven is the actual villain.
