She even briefly bonded with a fragment of the Carnage
Shriek (Frances Louise Barrison) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is usually depicted as an enemy of Spider-Man, and the lover of Cletus Kasady.
The main reason was because the Carnage symbiote was not a perfect match with Cletus like Venom was with Eddie. In the middle of the climactic battle, we see Carnage and Cletus arguing with each other over Cletus' one true love Shriek, who Carnage hates because of her symbiote-killing sonic scream.
During the fight, Carnage knocked Shriek around to Cletus' protests and killed the church priest to get more power. Eventually, Carnage grew tired of Shriek's presence and tried to strangle her to death, which caused Cletus to panic and try to prevent Carnage from doing so.
As a result, Shriek is a deadly and destructive force with Carnage as well as the instrument of their demise.
Shriek, in the pages of Marvel Comics, is the girlfriend of Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage, who will be played by Woody Harrellson in the sequel. Harrellson made a cameo appearance during a post-credit scene in the first Venom.
Type of Villain
Shriek is an antagonist from Marvel Comics. She is a major enemy of Spider-Man and also the girlfriend and "wife" of Carnage.
The Donna Diego incarnation of Scream, referred simply as "Female symbiote", was featured in Marvel's comic book trading cards in the 1990s.
What's clear is that Shriek is a mutant and her powers focus on sound manipulation.
Shriek Bonded With Symbiotes & Ended Up Creating Scorn
The second symbiote possessed Doctor Nieves, creating a new being called Scorn. The symbiote didn't harbor any love for her previous host and went on to put Shriek in a coma after Scorn made her use her sonic-based powers to weaken Carnage.
Combining with the nearby Brock, the symbiote shared his hatred for Spider-Man, as well as mentally sharing with Brock its former host's secret identity of Peter Parker. From there, the two would be known as Venom, seeking violent retribution against the man who had wronged both of them.
After Carnage killed another person so that Cletus could steal his clothes, Cletus found a car and took it while Carnage talked to its host, saying that they needed to kill Venom so they can be unstoppable, with Cletus agreeing to do it as long as Carnage helped him find Shriek.
While Carnage is defeated in the Venom sequel, it is not entirely deceased. During the final battle, Carnage left a piece of itself in detective Patrick Mulligan.
The villain and symbiote crash to the ground, and Venom devours his offspring before Cletus can bond again. Defeated, Cletus claims he only ever wanted to be Eddie's friend. Venom, sick of his speeches, devours Cletus' head.
Likely stemming from his loneliness in prison, Cletus desired Eddie's friendship to make his separation from Shriek (his lover) bearable. Cletus likes making nursery rhymes of random words.
Following it giving birth to Toxin, Cletus began affectionately referring to the Carnage symbiote using female pronouns. He has more recently reverted to referring to it with male pronouns.
While in prison, Venom produces an offspring named Carnage. (He reproduces asexually, in case you were wondering.) Venom doesn't tell Eddie about it, and Venom and Eddie escape prison. Once they're gone, Carnage bonds with Cletus.

They rapidly age the symbiotes and pair them to people: Scream (yellow, female), Agony (pink, female), Lasher (green, male), Riot (grey, male) and Phage (orange, male).
Symbiotes are genderless, reproduce asexually, and generally produce only one offspring in a lifetime.
Blue Symbiote (2) (Agony): In the comics Agony was one of the symbiotes forcibly spawned from Venom alongside several others by the Life Foundation.
One of the most tragic and weirdest Venom stories is how the symbiote made Eddie Brock pregnant, and this pregnancy created more chaos than Carange.
The Symbiote Sisters (Scream, Scorn, and Mania) created Venom from the remains of their fallen sister All-Black.
