Some women want to wear a bra to bed because it feels more comfortable for them. Your best bet is to choose a lightweight bra without underwire.
“While some women may be more comfortable wearing a bra to bed, there is no proof that continued support through the night has any significant effect on breast tissue,” says Bedford Breast Center breast surgeon Dr. Heather Richardson.
"Wearing a bra will reduce the strain and stretch on the breast tissue," Matthew Schulman, M.D., a board-certified plastic surgeon, tells SELF. Bottom line: There may not be compelling evidence that sleeping in a bra will help prevent sagging, but experts agree that doing so isn't harmful.
