Ideal for cat pee spots on hard floors, dish soap can be all you need to get rid of the smell. Mix one tablespoon of soap into two cups of cool water. Then soak a clean cloth in the solution and wipe the spot as many times as is needed.
Regular laundry detergent as well as other typical cleaning supplies, such as baking soda, vinegar, and hydrogen peroxide, can make the smell go away, but this is temporary. Some people recommend adding baking soda or vinegar to the wash.

Does cat urine odour ever go away? If you've cleaned the area thoroughly using an enzymatic cleaner, you can successfully get rid of the smell of cat urine permanently. However, on a very hot day the smell may resurface.
Cat urine contains uric acid, which can last in carpets, fabrics and wood for years! Although baking soda, vinegar, soap, and hydrogen peroxide may neutralize the odors temporarily, a humid day can cause the uric acid to recrystallize, and the infamous "cat odor" will return.

Before washing your urine-stained clothing item with a laundry detergent, you can try soaking it in a sink or tub with a mixture of baking soda and warm water—although, in most cases just washing it with a high-quality detergent like Tide will suffice.
Use your washer
Take your clothes and place them in the washing machine. Now you can add detergent. We recommend using enzyme-based detergent as it will break down the urine stains and odor and separate them from your clothing's fabric. Remember to set your water as cool or lukewarm and run the cycle.

Clean any places where your cat has peed inappropriately with an enzymatic cleaner. Your cat will stop marking in those places. Place treats close to where your cats pee inappropriately. If your cat is peeing on the bed, place treats there.
Why does my house smell like cat pee when I don't have a cat? Multiple things can cause your house to smell like cat urine, even if you don't have a cat. Investigate if there is mold, leaking Freon, sewer gases, smelly plants, spoiled food, or even stains from previous pet owners.
Generally, you'll need to let the cleaner sit for 10–15 minutes before blotting up the excess liquid with a clean cloth. Then leave the spot to air dry for up to two days. If the cat pee smell persists, you may have to repeat the process.

Neutralize it!
Then you're going to want to douse the spot with an enzymatic cleaner or simply make your own cleaning solution by combining (white or apple cider) vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio. Because the vinegar is acidic, it will neutralize the bacteria in the cat pee, offsetting its odor.
The ammonia smell from cat urine can lead to respiratory problems in humans, such as asthma and allergies. However, under normal conditions, when you are only dealing with a small area of spilled urine, the likelihood of it harming your respiratory system is minimal to non-existent.
Mix one-quarter cup peroxide with a teaspoon of dish detergent. Use only three-percent hydrogen peroxide. Pour or spray this over the baking soda and work into the carpet with a toothbrush. Once it's dry, vacuum away the residue using an upholstery brush attachment.
Throwing urine-stained clothing or fabrics directly into the washing machine isn't a good idea since cat urine has a way of setting in its odors. If added to a general laundry load, you might even find that the urine-stained items contaminate an entire load of laundry with its scent.
In particular, a cat that feels unsafe or vulnerable in any way can take to peeing on your bed. Similarly, a bored or under-stimulated cat can also start peeing in inappropriate areas as a way to communicate their need for more stimulation with you.
Marking territory with urine is your cat's way of dealing with stress. They feel anxious and are trying to relieve their anxiety by staking out their boundaries. Leaving their urine scent is the most emphatic way to say, “I'm stressed.”
