In an interesting turn of events, as mentioned above, Tanjiro later uses the flame handguard from Rengoku's sword on the legendary Yoriichi sword he finds during the Swordsmith Village arc.
Tanjiro took Rengoku's hilt after he died.
Hashira Training Arc
After Tanjiro has been resting for days after the fight in the Swordsmith Village, Hotaru arrives at the Butterfly Mansion to deliver Tanjiro his sword.
Kyojuro Rengoku's nichirin sword, broken in a fierce fight, and as seen in the TV anime, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, is now reproduced in the Proplica series.
As the battle reached its climax, Tanjiro was able to knock the doll's head off and discovered that the mechanical body contained a mysterious sword. Fans of the manga will recognize this sword as the one carried by Yoriichi Tsugikuni himself.
Tanjiro's ancestor was a good friend of Yoriichi and arguably was one of his only true friends. Therefore Yoriichi gave the earrings as a gift, and since then they have been passed down the generations until they reached Tanjiro.
The Bright Red Nichirin Sword may be a thing of beauty, but it takes a skilled and powerful Demon Slayer to wield it. And Tanjiro is just the man for the job. Not only does he possess the strength and agility needed to handle such a weapon, but he has also awakened his Demon Slayer Mark not once but twice.
Tengen Uzui
He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest. Obviously, then, Tengen Uzui is rather proud. He is demanding, fussy, boastful, and prone to selfishness. But he is also ultimately kind and caring, with great love for his three wives as well as the other Hashira.
Being one of the strongest Hashira, Sanemi's sword matches his appearance. His sword is very durable and lasts throughout the series. It had no problem piercing through the box that Nezuko is held in. He fought against Kokushibo during the final arc of the manga.
Red Nichirin Blade
Red often means intensity, and in Demon Slayer this is no different. The red sword represents Flame and Kyojuro Rengoku's excentric and expansive personality translates that.
He mocked the other styles as "cheap imitations" of Sun Breathing and accused Tanjiro of coming to their residence to mock them for his superiority, after recognising his Hanafuda earrings.
Black swords are also supposed to hold all the colors, which means Tanjiro is to find his way through all colors and breathing techniques. It is also said to absorb the most sunlight, so it is the strongest sword against the demons.
In the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira is a group of the strongest and most reputable swordsmen who have defeated members of the Twelve Kizuki. Yet, for some reason, Tanjiro Kamado, the series' protagonist, never becomes a Hashira.
Who is Yoriichi Tsugikuni? Yoriichi Tsugikuni is a Demon Slayer from 300 years ago, and the inspiration for Kotetsu's training doll. We won't spoil too many specifics about his story and relationships below, but here are a few key facts to know.
Gyomei is one of the current Hashira who doesn't use a Nichirin Sword.
During Tanjiro and the rest of the Hashiras' showdown with the Demon King Muzan, Tanjiro is mortally wounded and dies. At the same time, Muzan receives a particularly fatal lil' booboo himself. As Muzan is about to shuffle off the mortal coil, he uses the last of his powers to turn Tanjiro into a demon.
3 Giyu Tomioka, The Water Hashira.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
Tanjiro's Black Sword
Of course, the one who takes the top spot in terms of the best swords in Demon Slayer is Tanjiro's black Nichirin blade.
But, comparing the two characters in their best forms, Zenitsu might be just a tad bit faster owing to his Godspeed move.
Sanemi is clearly the least popular Hashira among Demon Slayer fans.
Rengoku's fight in the Mugen Train arc showed his incredible speed and reflexes. He was able to match Akaza's speed, and his movements were so fast that it was almost impossible for the naked eye to keep up. Tengen, meanwhile, is the fastest runner out of all the Hashira.
The fuming rage that Tanjiro felt from seeing Daki destroy human lives helped him push past his limits while also making him bleed through his eyes in anger, resulting in his eye colors changing to bloodshot red.
During the fight against Rui, in the face of absolute despair, Tanjiro pushes past his limits and unlocks a new form of breathing called the Hinokami Kagura.
Tanjiro's most notable attribute is his ability to empathize with anyone, even demons, which often made him hesitate before delivering the final blow.
