Tanjiro Kamado wields a black Nichirin blade, but the symbolism of such a sword is unknown.
Tanjiro utilizes Water Breathing, but unlike Tomioka, his sword isn't blue to reflect the breathing style. This is because he also can use the Hinokami Kagura technique.
When Tanjiro first got his Nichirin Sword on Demon Slayer, and it changed color to match the personality of its user like all Nichirin weapons do, many fans were surprised that Tanjiro's katana turned black.
Though, Tanjiro did change its hilt to the one borrowed from the late Flame Hashira's Nichirin sword, which was orange and red in color and shaped like a flame.
Tanjiro's Black Sword
Of course, the one who takes the top spot in terms of the best swords in Demon Slayer is Tanjiro's black Nichirin blade.
Moreover, any Nichirin sword can become bright red regardless of the blade's original color. However, the blade can only stay bright red for a certain amount of time before returning to normal.
Thirteenth Form
This move was devised by Tanjiro solely to defeat Muzan. After all, the twelve hearts that Muzan could move around his body needed to be downed in one fell swoop, which is why Tanjiro resorted to this powerful technique.
Tanjiro Kamado wields a black Nichirin blade, but the symbolism of such a sword is unknown. Black blades are seen as a rarity, as demon slayers who wield them are doomed to die young. No wielder of a black sword has ever become a Hashira, either. However, this is all superstition.
Demon Slayer's season 3's latest episode has left fans on edge with Tanjiro's discovery of Yoriichi Tsugikuni's Type Zero sword.
One of the most prominent swords seen in Season 1, the blue sword represents Water and its owner, Giyu Tomioka uses it in fluid movements that make him a skilled and formidable killer. The movements used for Giyu's water Breathing resemble the ocean: a calm body of water that can be deadly under specific circumstances.
Black. Toho Co., Ltd. Black is the most mysterious color of all the blades, and is held by the main character, Tanjiro. It is a rare blade and represents the sun; it also holds a theory that the demon slayers who own this sword are not to live a long life.
So now, Tanjiro, the protagonist of the Demon Slayer series, has access to a sword that belonged to the best swordsman to have ever lived. This sword was in bad condition, but Hotaru Haganezuka took it upon himself to restore the blade to its former glory.
8) Muzan hates being called pale or dead
Muzan is the most powerful demon in the entire series, and is responsible for creating all demons. For someone who considers himself to be perfect, it is natural that he will hate being called pale or dead. This is established quite early on.
The fuming rage that Tanjiro felt from seeing Daki destroy human lives helped him push past his limits while also making him bleed through his eyes in anger, resulting in his eye colors changing to bloodshot red.
In the case of Tanjiro, the mark used to be just a graze, but during his fight with the Hand Demon during the Final Selection, the mark changed. That life threatening condition altered him and afterwards, it develops into a flame-like pattern and is his new Demon Slayer Mark.
Tanjiro is a young man of average height with fairly tanned skin and an athletic, muscular physique. He has ruffled, black hair with burgundy tips, combed back to expose his forehead, and wide, dark red eyes with white pupils that appear lighter around the lower section of his irises.
So to compare Tanjiro's Demon form in which he's immune to sunlight, and also has the prowess of Sun Breathing, it would give him an upper hand, but still he would lose to Yoriichi.
nope never in his wildest dreams…. Even Muzan calls Yorichii a monster so ironic…
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc episode #2 sees Tanjiro discover the "secret weapon" hidden in the Swordsmith Village; a battle training doll called Yoriichi Type Zero.
The Purple Nichirin sword was used by the Upper-Moon One, Kokushibo. This sword is symbolic of the Moon Breathing style and is definitely one of the strongest within the series. Being a demon, Kokushibo's sword also has eyes attached to it.
The major literary reason for Tanjiro having such a hard head is to be symbolic of his determination and fighting style. Time and time again, Tanjiro is shown to press forward and fight on even when all hope seems lost.
Tanjiro's Current Demon Slayer Rank Is Kanoe
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke have moved from Mizunoto up to Kanoe due to their exploits. Murata, the Demon Slayer, who was almost digested on Mount Nagumo, is also a Kanoe.
Tanjiro certainly did a lot of good with his Water Breathing techniques, but his ability to use Sun Breathing both gives him an edge in battle and allows him to stand out among the incredibly powerful Hashira he fights alongside.
In terms of achievements, Tanjiro outsmarted Water Hashira with just his natural instincts and defeated a bunch of demons even before becoming a member of the Demon Slayer Corps.
