Unfortunately, the answer to this question would be, no, he did not. Zenitsu, along with
At this point Zenitsu has manifested his speed and power, and he was also able to keep up with the Demon King, Muzan, even when weakened. It's possible to say that his power easily matched the strength of a Hashira.
Zenitsu is the only non-Hashira Demon Slayer to have done feats specifically only Hashira have done: Create a new, original form in a Breathing Style with multiple users (done by Giyu Tomioka).
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke didn't become Hashira since they aren't ranked Kinoe, one of the requirements to become a Hashira. This's confirmed in Rengoku: Gaiden.
Who is Jigoro Kuwajima? Jigoro was a former Hashira who practiced Thunder Breathing, which ended up giving him the title of "Roaring Hashira". Naturally, he was a very powerful demon slayer who successfully killed many demons.
While unconscious, Zenitsu is a force to be reckoned with, but his actual power is discovered when he is awake. While awake, Zenitsu was able to match the upper rank six, Kaigaku. He was also able to keep up with the Demon King, though he was in a weakened state during this battle.
During their fight, Zenitsu was at a major disadvantage against Kaigaku until he used the seventh form called “Honoikazuchi no Kami,” literally meaning “Flaming Thunder God.” To use this technique, Zenitsu runs forward at breakneck speed, unleashing a single forward slash from a low stance.
With the death of Shimomiya and her completing the Final Selection, Nezuko would rise in the ranks until she became the second Sun Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps.
In the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira is a group of the strongest and most reputable swordsmen who have defeated members of the Twelve Kizuki. Yet, for some reason, Tanjiro Kamado, the series' protagonist, never becomes a Hashira.
With Last season's Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc brought Rengoku, the flame hashira, and Tengen Uzui, the sound hashira. Now, with Demon Slayer Season 3's Swordsmith Village, two more Hashira have come into focus: Mitsuri Kanroji (the love hashira) and Muichiro Tokito (the mist hashira).
But, comparing the two characters in their best forms, Zenitsu might be just a tad bit faster owing to his Godspeed move.
Shinobu Kocho Is the Weakest Hashira
The Insect Hashira, Shinobu's petite frame prevents her from being physically able to decapitate any demon, be it an Upper-Rank or the weakest demon in Japan. At one point or another in the manga, all nine Hashira in Demon Slayer encountered an Upper-Rank.
After being turned into a demi-demon, Nezuko exhibited a skill and fearlessness that belied her youth. It also suggests she is prime Hashira material.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
Tanjiro Is Strong, and Stronger than Zenitsu as he uses Sun Breathing.
Not overrated at all, he's kind of under appreciated (but I guess that's because lots of people in this fandom haven't read the manga) Even without his mark, he killed an upper moon in one hit. He's mastered the first form to utter perfection making it deadly and he even made a godspeed version.
1 Tanjiro's Patience Paves The Way To A Close Friendship With Inosuke Hashibira.
Inosuke Hashibira is one of the strongest characters in Demon Slayer despite not being a Hashira, the highest rank in the Corps. With his Beast Breathing, he's one of the most unique fighters they have both on and off the battlefield.
Tanjiro did his time as a demon, but now he's back to normal—well, almost normal. He's still got Muzan living inside of him, so he'll struggle with “inner demons” quite literally from now on.
His search came to an end when he discovered that Zuko was able to withstand the sun. While this is a great plot point, fans are confused as to how a demon whose main weakness is the sun can survive it. This is why Kamado Nezuko was able to stand in the sun despite being a demon.
In Demon Slayer episode 23, “Hashira Meeting,” one of the Hashiras, Sanemi Shinazugawa, hated demons so much he wanted to provoke Nezuko into attacking so he could kill her. He even stabbed her multiple time in front of her bound brother Tanjirou.
In episode 6 of Demon Slayer season 2, Nezuko entered a berserk state to protect her brother Tanjiro, causing her body to develop into that of an adult. She loses her gag, grows a single horn and gains vine-like patterns across her body.
Thunder Breathing is one such technique that Zenitsu has used to great effect in the series. Of course, Zenitsu is only the master of the first form, but it goes without saying that the other techniques of Thunder Breathing will also be awe-inspiring to witness in Demon Slayer.
Superhuman Hearing: Zenitsu has always had enhanced hearing, being able to hear what others can't. He is able to hear a faint difference that is normally indetectable to humans in the sound of a moving human and a moving demon. His hearing gives him extra awareness for danger.
Thunder Clap and Flash—Godspeed is the most powerful of Zenitsu's derivations of the Thunder Breathing first-form technique.
