The Bible (Proverbs 23:7) tells us that as a man "thinketh in his heart, so is he." Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius (121-180 AD) concluded, "We become what we think about.
Or the variant: for as he thinks within himself, so he is. Out of this verse comes a rather familiar phrase, “as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (a slight adjustment from the KJV translation of this verse).
The proverb here warns about deceitful hosts seeking your harm. Here is Solomon's whole warning, “Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Jesus tells His disciples that bad things cannot go into a man, but rather bad things come out of the heart of man (Matthew 12:34, 15:19).
God is looking for men ~ men (and women) who have yielded their hearts and wills to the cause of Christ, and to the extension of His Kingdom ~ men who are willing to “Lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us” (Hebrews 12:1-3) in order to live our lives for His glory. There is a job to be done!
In the King James Version of the Bible the text reads: O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. The New International Version translates the passage as: You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good?
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
The Lord God of heaven and earth protects property rights. He especially protects the poor and helpless. It is tempting to alter business practices for financial advantage, but God condemns such acts. It is tempting to take financial advantage of those who cannot defend themselves, but God condemns that as well.
Gen. 1:27, Acts 17:25,28. Man is a person and is therefore capable of making moral choices. Man is made in the image of God.

For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
Researchers have scanned the brains of people who are madly in love and found a heavy surge of dopamine, a neurotransmitter in the brain's reward system that helps people feel pleasure. Dopamine, along with other chemicals, gives us that energy, focus, and obsession we feel when we're wild about someone.
Put simply, when you understand each other, you feel connected. The simplest way for men to feel connected with women is through sex and experience. You can build a connection with your partner by expressing to him the ways you want to be loved and connected when you become intimate.
Ephesians 4:23, KJV: And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Ephesians 4:23, NASB: and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, Ephesians 4:23, NLT: Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.
Psalm 52:8 KJV
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
Proverbs 18:21, NASB: Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21, NLT: The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29, CSB: No foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear.
This Verse Reminds Us to Look at Where We Spend Money
And that is a crystal clear picture of where your heart is. And so in this way, Jesus encourages us to put our treasure in what's going to matter most in eternity. That's why he says right before Luke 12:34, in Luke 12:33 “Sell your possession and give to the needy.
Armour, in 1991, discovered that the heart has its "little brain" or "intrinsic cardiac nervous system." This "heart brain" is composed of approximately 40,000 neurons that are alike neurons in the brain, meaning that the heart has its own nervous system.
Your heart walls have three layers: Endocardium: Inner layer. Myocardium: Muscular middle layer. Epicardium: Protective outer layer.

It's our connection with the Divine and is like an inner sun, that shines forth Divine Light into all areas of our lives. The spiritual heart is always awake, always ready to light our path to enlightenment.
