There are only two known means by which Earth Eternals can die. One is through an injury that disperses a significant portion of the Eternal's body molecules; the other involves overwhelming and breaking the Eternal's mental hold over his or her own body.
Created by the Celestials, the Eternals are blessed with the gift of eternal life: whenever they die, the mechanism inside the Earth itself (known as The Machine That Is Earth) brings them back from the dead.
Due to the cosmic energy that suffuses an Eternal's body and the unbreakable mental hold they have over their physiological processes, the Eternals of Earth are effectively immortal.
there are heroes and villains in Marvel Comics that could easily stand their ground against him. The Avengers took a lot of time to deal with the threat of Thanos. But these Eternals could have single-handedly floored Thanos and humiliated the Mad Titan in his own game. There are Eternals in the MCU already.
With this artifact Thanos was able to absorb every cosmic being that exists in his universe, eventually facing Eternity and Infinity. Despite their best effort Thanos defeats them and absorbs the two beings.
A recollection of a past battle in Eternals: Celestia #1 (by by Kieron Gillen, Kei Zama, John Livesay, Matthew Wilson, and VC's Clayton Cowles) revealed that the Eternals have a crippling weakness that they share with Superman: a vulnerability to magic.
It might come out to a draw against Thor, but the fact that he could easily defeat Cap or Iron Man makes this a win.
Kro killed Ajak, gaining her power, and began hunting down the Eternals in a quest for power, eventually gaining a sapience never before experienced by a Deviant. Kro followed the Eternals as they tried to stop the Emergence, but was ultimately killed by Thena after failing to absorb her power.
Of the ten cosmic-powered heroes based on Earth in Marvel's Eternals movie, which one of them deserves to be called the MCU's most powerful Eternal? In the comic books, this title would most certainly belong to Gilgamesh, who possesses the strength of Thor (in addition to several other abilities).
Can Scarlet Witch defeat the Eternals? Also Eternals directly tap into cosmic energy for a wide variety of powers, including telekinesis, telepathy, molecular transmutation, flight and more. Wanda Maximoff would easily defeat the Eternals.
He was created by writer-artist Jim Starlin, and first appeared in The Invincible Iron Man #55 (cover date February 1973). An Eternal–Deviant warlord from the moon Titan, Thanos is regarded as one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe.

Technically, Gilgamesh and Sersi were the first Eternals from Earth to become members of the Avengers. But the first Eternal Avenger was none other than Eros, AKA Starfox. Starfox came to Earth in AVENGERS (1963) #232, and he immediately asked to join the roster.
Yes, Ikaris died in Eternals. In his final moments in the film, Ikaris flies away from his beloved Sersi in emotional torment and heads straight into the sun and is last seen apparently succumbing to the intense fires of that giant ball of gas.
Guilt-ridden over his betrayal to Arishem and his actions against his fellow Eternals, Ikaris leaves earth and flies into the sun, ending his life.
She met with Ikaris to ask for his help to stop Tiamut, a Celestial who would destroy the planet. Ikaris betrayed her because of his loyalty to Arishem, causing Ajak to be killed by the Deviants that he threw her towards.
